Whistler Waves
We’re all familiar with the booms and rumbles of thunder heard after lightning discharges, but did you know that lighting produces other sounds?
I first heard about whistler waves on my local classical music station:

which included a performance of Caroline Mallonee’s piece “Whistler Waves for cello and orchestra” by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (preceded by a NASA recording of whistler waves produced by lightning).

I’ve never understood why the #til (Today I Learned) tag has never really caught on here on the Steem blockchain. Steemit got its name as a riff on Reddit and the #til tag is quite popular there, why is it so rarely used here?
