@themarkymark, I've worked telephone jobs where I've communicated with over 100 people in a day. Four minute phone calls or less. If I divide 44,561 people by 100 in a day that's is 446 days of work. I've never tried to assess if they are good people or bad people. All of that said, how long does it take to determine the guilt of 44,561 people? It seems like a very long list of guilty people on a platform of so few users? I'm not suggesting that you got it wrong all of the time, but is it possible you got it wrong some of the time? Is it possible that some of these people, and we all hear them squealing like a pig, are getting mistreated? The spam on your comments seems to indicate that some are not feeling your method of #CancellationCulture. Now, I don't know you too well, and I'm not sure how awesome you are at cancelling the right people, but your stats are very high. So you're either doing something really really right, or you're trying to get that sweet SPS which is fine if you're doing right, but not fine if you're padding the numbers. How long does it take to determine to say that so-and-so Steemian is guilty of shitposts? Does one shit post end them permanently, or does it take several? 43k accounts not 43k users. Many are farm networks with 200-500+ accounts. Many are not active anymore but I can't possibly track which ones are using any more and worry about them coming back to spam and plagiarize again.
I just hope that innocent people aren't getting gummed up in the works. I can understand if they are posting spam in the sense that it's the exact same message over and over again. Or if they are posting illegal porn or something to that effect. Those reasons are perfectly acceptable in my book. Where I take issue is the "shitposting," and revenge permadownvotes, it's such a gray area and could easily turn into the ugly things we see today on YouTube and all the other stupid places that I left to come here for. If there are only 8-to-20k active users from that list now it might be nice to know how many active abusers we currently have on steem?
This way we can sort through those accounts and just make sure they deserve to be on the list. This is in the bit of the realm of philosophical, and I don't know if you would agree or not but the English jurist William Blackstone in his seminal work, 'Commentaries on the laws of England' suggested that "it is better 100 guilty Persons should escape than that one innocent Person should suffer". I'm not sure the moral relevance behind the statement or if it should be a maxim of law but it's something to ponder in a position of great power like yourself. You are creating a lot of untermensch with your list, so it's best it be more accurate than not, else innocents will suffer.

Regardless, it is because he posted in my STEM community something off topic. I flagged it with a 1% flag on an account with almost no SP, just to hide it from the STEMGeeks Tribe. The only way possible to keep the tribe on topic, the flag removed 0 Steem and 0 STEM tokens, it was just to hide the content as it was unrelated. I assume he doesn't even understand how that works, but what followed is why he is on permanent flag.

The fact is that @themarkymark is a toxic user, He is a troll that is basically bending the rules and exploiting monetary control on the steem network. He has succeeded in showing any legit businesses that may want to conduct business on Steem that such a thing is simply not possible until there is a way to block or ban this type of toxic user from downvoting. He hides behind the fact that he downvotes with the lowest possible amount, but that lowest amount is still equal to about a 5000SP full power downvote. so saying he is not censoring is 100% BS! a downvote of even the smallest degree at that level of SP is censorship 100%! and the detriment to reputation is the most critical part.. I've stopped using the @nanocheeze account until a feature to ban/block this type of toxic censoring downvoter is enabled.... I am not the only one that feels this way. I was trying to do the math on the proposal where he created a blacklist of 46k steemians to target people to either not be upvoted, or to receive downvotes. I just don't know how possible, interesting, or beneficial it can be for the platform, especially when it results in posts being hidden as you mentioned.
I'm sorry to hear that it's turned you off to posting. I find a lot of the simulation theory stuff fascinating myself which is why I invoked you when talking about when people fall through the cracks of what should or should not be downvoted.

Yes, I had heard about that rumour concerning Justin Sun as well. It has no substance right now, but who knows what the future will bring? I tracked down the original source of the rumor which came from a Chinese Crypto News Source called Mars. It referred to, ...people familiar with the recent acquistions.... Justin Sun just stated he had made some purchases of two companies on his Wiebo Account (Sort of like a Chinese TwitterTM.
I have changed my views concerning your blacklist project. It has become a necessity, and I am sure, @steemcleaners appreciates the supplementing of their project to deter spammers. Poor @shadowspub, her last post about a certain serial SBI down-voter was spammed by a person I believe was trying to do good! Those things are too large!

The fact is that @themarkymark is a toxic user, He is a troll that is basically bending the rules and exploiting monetary control on the steem network. He has succeeded in showing any legit businesses that may want to conduct business on Steem that such a thing is simply not possible until there is a way to block or ban this type of toxic user from downvoting. He hides behind the fact that he downvotes with the lowest possible amount, but that lowest amount is still equal to about a 5000SP full power downvote. so saying he is not censoring is 100% BS! a downvote of even the smallest degree at that level of SP is censorship 100%! and the detriment to reputation is the most critical part.. I've stopped using the @nanocheeze account until a feature to ban/block this type of toxic censoring downvoter is enabled.... I am not the only one that feels this way. Many people have been chased away from this platform. It's a very carefully planned tactic by themarkymark and he is a large number of people on Steem. He is playing out some sort of Legion fantasy I think.... Everyone that upvotes him is him.... mostly.... He has several alter egos I have been tracking.... I'm just done with it. I was enjoying steem a lot, but I have moved on until this is addressed. It's a broken system as is with users this powerful having the ability to beat up minnows. And he clearly enjoys it. He loves the drama. He tries to encourage retaliation to justify adding you to his perma downvote bot.... I just say whatever to the whole thing... I'll comment on this account from now on and watch my reputation go negative, and I will keep downvoting anyone supporting @themarkymark from @nanocheeze and I will continue to powerup the account until I become too annoying to ignore. Other than that, I will give him none of my energy or attention. him and his pals have been added to my upvote bot to downvote.... Simple. I can play his stupid game too.... and call him out on being a two faced piece of shit at the same time! And he thinks screenshotting angry replies means anything?? I double laugh at this asshole. Like I said, troll trying to incite anger.... Sad and simple fact is that he is forcing the community to do something about this type of whale behavior and he is going to be one of the first to suffer those community driven consequences.... and he fucking deserves it!

I was trying to do the math on the proposal where he created a blacklist of 46k steemians to target people to either not be upvoted, or to receive downvotes. I just don't know how possible, interesting, or beneficial it can be for the platform, especially when it results in posts being hidden as you mentioned.
I'm sorry to hear that it's turned you off to posting. I find a lot of the simulation theory stuff fascinating myself which is why I invoked you when talking about when people fall through the cracks of what should or should not be downvoted.
I think what people fail to realize is that when they hide people's posts on the main condenser the overwhelming feeling that you just got censored is absolutely infuriating. Either folks fail to realize this, or they really get off on screwing with people.
I’ve been in discord rooms before full of people who think it’s just a game, and some of them do really get off on it. It’s sad in the age of social media that has already shown the world how ugly this practice is. Also, trying to claim ownership over a generic hashtag is sketchy at best, the phenomenon is only unique to steem as far as I know.

Yes, I had heard about that rumour concerning Justin Sun as well. It has no substance right now, but who knows what the future will bring? I tracked down the original source of the rumor which came from a Chinese Crypto News Source called Mars. It referred to, ...people familiar with the recent acquistions.... Justin Sun just stated he had made some purchases of two companies on his Wiebo Account (Sort of like a Chinese TwitterTM.
I have changed my views concerning your blacklist project. It has become a necessity, and I am sure, @steemcleaners appreciates the supplementing of their project to deter spammers. Poor @shadowspub, her last post about a certain serial SBI down-voter was spammed by a person I believe was trying to do good! Those things are too large!
I am excited about the work of @dcooperation and this Elevator Pitch Contest looks very interesting. There are quite a few people working hard to promote the DAPPS on the STEEM Platform!
