A Wonderful Test For Decentralization

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

All eyes are on Steem. Buterin is tweeting about us as is Andreas. The biggest names in crypto are watching to see how the Steem community handles the hijacking of the blockchain by Justin Sun with the help of three centralized exchanges.

I cover some of the opportunities for the entire decentralized space.

Is this the beginning of the great divide? I am really hopeful that it is becoming something big. And, good. ❤

I think we still need to stick together. If SMTs still come out, people can take over their own portions of this place moving forward. Idk.

For me its not the actions of Sun but the actions of the exchanges...

The only good that has come from this is that the centralised exchanges have shown their hand and proved themselves to be as ruthless and corrupt as the banks.

Not your keys not your coins but more over with POS ... Not your keys not your blockchain

I don't think you can separate them - Isn't this just four people (Sun and the three exchange bosses colluding?

Yes i would agree.
I expected underhand stuff from Sun. But not from the exchanges who have now lost all trust and set a precedent for doing this in the future

@taskmaster4450 i believe the perception that many people have about justin sun is one of the major cause of the issues that is happening on steemit, many people see justin sun as someone who is trying to hijack the platform and trying to dismiss ideas from others and trying to create a dictatorship type of governance....

Is not it what he is trying to do? He forcefully replaced the top 20 witnesses. Now does not that just torque your jaws? The dictatorship is exactly what he is trying to do/achieve. Or probably already done/achieved. He owns Steemit, Inc, and now the top 20 witnesses. He is in control.

Then the Steem blockchain will not be successful. I realized that it is not decentralized. It never were. It was always around the CEO of Steemit, and around the whales and around the witnesses. And now it will probably be even worse. Looks like Steemit and the Steem blockchain have their own Mark Zuckerberg in the person of Justin Sun.

i hope, you are right, this feels like beeing on a virtual battlefield, use your witness-votes everybody, then we may kick them off their places !trdo
