Should We Conform To Normalcy Because The Things We love Doing Is Not Familiar With Our Society?

Vlogging in public doesn't really conform well with the society I come from, there's this unfamiliar that makes it queer and besides journalist and recognised comedians you hardly see public vlogging and those that even attempt does so in a secluded area and that means that discrimination and hesitance to subsidize your excess in enjoying vlogging.
Truth is sometimes not only me, we often deem it fit to keep away all our practices and process because we might be the first people who indulges in these and trust me scrutiny is what we fear. It's hardly our choice sometimes to do beyond the ordinary it's oftentimes the people around us who decides this with their feedback, their actions. For example you might even be seen as a criminal especially by law enforcement in Nigeria who might seem you something you're not. At the end, it definitely boils down to enlightenment

That is true about vlogging in public, most people do not consider it popularity, hence anything which does not draw public attention most would not have positive impact! Thanks for this video shared with us in 3Speak.

Well said! Yes, habits are a huge problem - they can even lead to our own death. There's a need to process our emotions and thoughts that hold us back in life.. So if you feel fear that people will reject you if you are yourself more fully, then feel that fear and allow your body to shake and make sounds in private.. Then the emotion will evolve and you will feel more free. The stronger we become, based on confidence and inner strength, the less we are concerned about the thoughts of others. Conformity sometimes seems to be safer, but in reality being unique is the only way to bring change and evolve our lives.

When @emafe started vlogging in 2010 - 2011 it seemed very odd to most people.

Now in 2019, a TON of people are vlogging in the Philippines.

If you keep going, you'll be ahead of the pack and I believe vlogging will trend in Nigeria in 5 years or so 👍😀

Love the T-Shirt bro. "Change" - a timely message.

I always enjoy the background noises in your videos. I'm being serious, they're so comforting. It sounded like some water body in the back there - like a beach or something :) . And I love the baba leaves :)

Lol you're one to always notice details lol and that's the backyard of my house there, it's a place I developed a liking to. And I felt I should do something here, I felt the background noise too and the detail will make sense, guess I was right lol, the cost of uploading was killing though. Hahaha thanks a million Ade you're too kind

Sadly, vlogging in public in America is pretty commonplace. I say "sadly" because in our culture of "me" and "I", people focus their vlogging on what they think people want to here. It floods the circuits with drones repeating the same talking points for clicks, views and likes.

Staying true to yourself while putting yourself out there is much more lasting and in the end, people respect you for it.
