Earthship Biotecture has to be one of the least understood sustainable building and living models around. This is not least because they offer SO many benefits that it is hard to even know them all, let alone explain them all!

The systems of an earthship encounter the forces of nature, mainly the sun, rain, and wind, and funnels them into your home to provide everything you need to live comfortably with annual utility bills of around $200 or less.

When you are truly self-sufficient and out of debt you take away some of the main sources of stress: buying food, paying the bills, covering the mortgage or rent, and needing to work full-time to allow this to continue. We can also look at environmental issues and great need to build smarter and in a more connected way, especially in the face of climate change.

I think over the period, calculating the series of benefits it adds up to the sustainable life is awesome. This I am saying in contradiction to my earlier comment that was against Earthship. But I went through your website and tons of other blogs and reading material that mentioned earthship project, and must say earthship is the definition of real sustainable life. I would want to constructor earthship, in Ireland. I don't know how the Irish planning commission and permission will react to this situation, but this Earthship ecosystem is fantastic. I think I need Earthship as my new house. Thank you @eco-alex for sharing this video with all of us.

So glad u took the time to research this! Earthships have met building codes in many countries including usa, japan, england, netherlands and more.. so i think u should be fine in ireland! It just takes good communication and maybe choosing a supportive area to build in. Very best of luck to you!

@eco-alex I was wondering, is there any way to make some kind of Earthship mobile? that is to say, like mobile cars, for families of 10 people, but perhaps by putting together several vehicles and with a specific technology for this?
Will there be a history of this?
Maybe someone has thought of going on a trip around your country in a mobile home earthship?

Dear @eco-alex For our institution "Fundación Musical Kantoría" it would be formidable to have (someday not too far away) in our country a model of Earthship for our children, it would be wonderful to have a place where all our children live and also serve as a rehearsal room and everything in one, in addition to being self-sustainable, we hope to build over the years the bases for the next generation to consolidate it.

Friend @eco-alex We are sure that the moment will come, we hope to be prepared for when that day arrives, we want to continue learning from you, so we are attentive to your publications, in our country Venezuela, all these kinds of ideas are great, because they help to survive in an economically deteriorated society.

#23 is really amazing I mean many people does not even understand the natural focal point of existence as a result of this they constant take natural habitats, natural existence for granted not really taking time to understand what we'd be without the cause of nature. When we live in harmony with nature, then we'd understand it's true beauty and essence. Another wonderfully made video.

@eco-alex Tt would be great to think of something with its self-sustainability, that can be in a place 1 month, take advantage of that soil, that land, that climate and then move as nomads to another place, taking with you your means of energy and supplies?
I don't know, I'm fantasizing too much, I think.
