Youtube now shutting down and demonetizing Anime channels for "reused" content - Another chance for 3speak?

I came across this video of a very talented anime content creator by the name of Mastar Media (+2 million subscribers) talking about youtube shutting down and demonetizing Anime content creators.

He's a father and he fears he might wake up one of these days with his channel demonetized as well.

Mastar Media is the creator of an 11 part anime called Anime war. Part 12 is in the making (may not see the light of day though, maybe @threespeak can help). Anyone that's a dragonball fan (@theycallmedan I know you're a fan) will apreciate this master piece. Goku and Vegeta reach a new transformation called Omni Super Saiyan.

Part 1 has +31 million views...

List of channels getting demonetized

  • Gigguk (1.8 million subscribers) does Anime reviews as a whole. Everything is fair use. He recently got demonetized. After his fans made enough noise his channel got remonetized. But he lost weeks of revenue as a result.

  • The Notorius Luke (118,000 subscribers) the creator of a series called Dragonball Deliverance was denied monetization by youtube for "reused content" even though he draws all his animations by hand. It took him years to create it.

  • Rayjii (102,000 subscribers) the creator of the viral video Goku turns into Super Saiyn 5 got his channel demonetized.

  • UHG Animation (541,000 subscribers) got his channel demonetized for two months.

  • Animation rewind (661,000 subscribers) got demonetized for a few weeks. Eventually he got remonetized after fan outrage.

Concluding thoughts

In many of the cases these guys' livelihood is on the line. Or as Mastar Media puts it:

You've built a business and a channel out of nothing, it has become you're livelihood and your baby and then you wake up one day and you see an email from youtube - You're done!

I personally live in a constant state of anxiety because I always have that feeling that I could wake up any day and get an email that says: Your channel is demonetized or terminated.

Steemit always had that vision of bringing in talented content creators. Anime does take skill and it has millions of loyal fans. It could be a chance for @threespeak to tap into that. Most of these guys make pennies.

Well. I suppose we should bring these creators to these crypto sites like Steemit, Whaleshares, etc where they can monetize their content without issues.
