Kanye West: “They Are Attempting to Take Prayer Out of Schools” 😧
Rapper Kanye West spoke at Joel Osteen‘s Lakewood Church in Houston. Osteen asked
some leading questions and handed over the microphone. West said that God is speaking
through him, and suggested he wants forced prayer back in public school. He said, "… The more and more this entire country follows Christ and sets the example that we are a Christian country — you know, they are attempting to take prayer out of schools. When you remove the fear and love of God, you create the fear and love of everything else… But let me break that down [not] in a negative way, but in a positive way. Reinstate the fear and love of God, and eliminate the fear and love of everything else."

Be wary of anyone who claims to speak for god. God makes some strange choices. A millionaire friend of Trump would not be my first choice. If Kanye is going into politics then it looks like he could be exploiting religion.
Is it just me who thinks that having to fear and love god makes it a very strange relationship? Religion ought to be kept out of schools as much as possible. We all live in multi-faith communities that include a lot of atheists.
Right.
Some might say that people who claim to love their chosen god are suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

There aren’t many things more disturbing than the ability for a poorly educated person with an over inflated ego being given the power to influence politics and institutions that educate our children.
There’s also nothing more infuriating than a person who believes that they speak on behalf of their favoured sky daddy.
How have we come to this time where a giant orange (and blatantly corrupt) buffoon is the leader of the free world and a poorly educated rapper who is married to a woman who built her brand on the back of a sex tape are now able to influence the institutions that educate our children?
This is utter insanity. Every day, I hope that I am just asleep and this is all a terrible nightmare.
