Boy Dies after Anti-vaxxers Urge Mom not to Treat his Flu š

A four-year-old boy has died of the flu after anti-vaxxers encouraged his mom not to give him Tamiflu, an antiviral medication that was prescribed by a doctor, because they preferred ānatural curesā instead. The mother was reportedly a member of āStop Mandatory Vaccination,ā a massive anti-vax group known for spreading false information about autism and government conspiracies. She asked the group for help and thatās where the problem took shape. The mother also wrote that the ānatural curesā she was treating all four of her children with ā including peppermint oil, Vitamin C and lavender ā were not working and asked the group for more advice. The advice that came in the comments included breastmilk, thyme and elderberry, none of which are medically recommended treatments for the flu.

I wonder about the motives of such groups. We have proven treatments for many diseases that can kill people. I have seen most of their arguments disproved by actual scientists. My kids were vaccinated for the standard risks.
Takes kids away from their parents should be an absolute last resort. We need educations programmes that people can trust to counter the 'anti-vax' propaganda.

Personally I am vaccinated for many MANY times, but years passed and I guess some parts of my brain started functioning. Vaccines are not candies! Now I see ads for vaccines everywhere. There are both pluses and minuses.
Many things don't add up. Some of the "research"on both sides don't look solid. I guess everyone should take responsibility for their actions and constantly remind our selves that we MUST keep learning all our lives and think critically other vise a herd of cattle.
I know nothing about the person behind this post, bus I have something to tell you. If you really care about people and this is the main reason of making this post, please remember that while it is incredibly easy to sell FEAR, you also become less human every time you do it...
There are vaccines that cause childhood paralysis and other illnesses, but vaccines are the only way to get rid of a number of diseases.
