Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping inaugurated the first phase of the 400 billion dollars mega gas transporting project named Power of Siberia.

The project runs for 30 years and takes the level of cooperation between the both giants to very high levels, and will add more pressure on the ailing US dollar which serves the US economy by bypassing it and dealing directly with the two countries national currencies.

The report is by al-Mayadeen Lebanese news channel in Arabic, I've added the English translation.

chinas hunger for oil is unsatiable, and russia has difficulties exporting with its sanctions... the two found each other.... it might also mean russia is more able to cut pipelines to europe more flexibly for political means, as it was the concern with the nordstream2 pipeline

Better for Europe to get their independence from the USA and stop making enemies with these two growing giants. Be friends with them and build a positive relationship that would benefit the people of all these countries and the rest of the world instead of only benefiting the few junta ruling the USA on the account of the Europeans and the rest of the world, including the US ordinary citizens.

what europe does not need is less flexibility... russia is heading down a bad road as they pass laws to make their journalists be able to punished as foreign spys... maybe in 20 years russia becomes another china, and already for US and china europe is too inflexible to punish them for their immoral things like middle east attack war and making up stories about it and organ harvest slave torture camps for religious minorities

I guess you missed the news where the US passed the same law. Maybe the Russian law is a countermeasure for the US ones, as all such laws.

indeed US's freedom of press is also unacceptable, and its undergoing a process of democratic backsliding where its subtly going into a less democratic situation... europe cannot realistically move away from all who behave against european solidaric values, but can only do so with the worsed, and so far europe is really bad at guessing which one is the worsed, and is dependend on trading and allying with nations that undermine these solidaric values.... thats why it would be great if europe diversified its trade a bit more, and rely less or not at all on china, having a bunch of concentration camps there...
