Don't let them fool you that the US was fighting ISIS, or even Al-Qaeda, these terrorist groups are the creation of the US itself to use them first against its enemies and later to claim it's coming to fight them and get a foothold in the targeted countries.

We shared before a damning interview of a former top Al-Qaeda commander and a close friend of both OBL and current Al-Qaeda leader Zawahri who confirmed that ISIS is the creation of the USA.

And if there's any further doubt that the US has invested in ISIS, listen to no other than John Kerry speaking to the Syrian 'oppositionists' abroad who wanted to rule their country over US tanks. Kerry also states that his country is illegally in Syria, unlike Russia...! It's also too stupid of him to put these two words together: the 'legitimate regime'.

What if I said:

If they had not armed ISIS, wouldn't they still claim they had ?
It would make it look like they were powerful and pulled all the strings.

( If you can, I would prefer a short answer ... yes/no )

Watch the interview with the former al-Qaeda commander, it's long and no short answer there, he details how the US paid between 20 - 30 million dollars to the founder of ISIS and how they trained them. John Kerry is more careful not to admit this now, but for sure 30 years later when the archives are declassified the world then, if it remains as we know it, will be stunned.

I meant it as a hypothetical question. A thought experiment.

If you were an intelligence officer in the CIA or somewhere:
Would you not try to spread some news which would make it appear, as though you were also involved with ISIS, even if it was not true at all ?

I sometimes feel like the agencies try to release conflicting information just to confuse everyone.

Before 9/11 I had not heard of al-Queada, and it seems almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me.

If you were in our party of the world your have a completely different view of events, we live what you hear of. Watching news is different than hearing about it and both are completely different than living through it. It'd be acceptable to consider ISIS taking responsibility for terror attacks it's not related to, but not an agency adopting, even by rumors, what terrorists are responsible for. Even the worse terror agencies like Mossad distance themselves from their own doings, let alone terrorists related to them.

If I was responsible, I would release one official version and then also create a few conflicting stories and also spread those, under the hand; None of them being the truth.

Just to clarify: you seem to misunderstand my questions and comments as disagreement.
Truth is: Is mostly agree with you - even without the details I can find here, I was aware of what's going on in a greater picture, at least since 9/11.

Often, my comments and questions are meant to invoke thought and are often just hypothetical and don't really require an answer.

I didn't take your comment as disagreement. I'm just telling you it's near impossible to fool Syrians with conflicting statements, remember all the disinformation campaign and billions of dollars they spent on brainwashing us it didn't work with us. We're living what they are trying to fake.

That's why they failed miserably in Syria and had to remove all masks.

As I said, no sane official of any agency however evil and capable it is would issue such statements to claim responsibility for a terror act, or a violation of international law, even when they do they try to hide behind misleading info not to expose themselves with misleading info. It carries with it severe consequences, war crimes and terror do not have expiry date.

Al Qaeda had attacked the United States before 9/11, you just just must not have been paying attention.

Sometimes all these seems really suprising but I guess we never can trust a government that's doing everything at all cost to keep it's enemies at arms length or at bay. However it's really disappointing, would people have really found this out?

Issue to ponder;
The U.S. donates BILLION of dollars to Saudi Arabia in both arms and cash. Saudi Arabia (who happens to be the worlds largest violator of Human Rights) passes the weapons and cash to al-Qaeda and ISIS/ISIL and various other iterations of the same group.
the U.S. is the largest "target" of record of both organizations and the U.S. is also the largest benficiary of the same groups.
The most amazing group that the U.S. has created though is the Thaliban is Afghanistan. The U.S. gave them weapons, cash, and training to defeat the "Soviet Invaders". Congressman Charles Wilson supported these actions and actually made several trips to assist the "Mujahadene"(?) in these endeavors. This was the beginnings of the Thaliban.
We also funded the "Contras" in Central America, the revolutionaries of Colombia and the list goes on, same play book, different country is all.
The U.S. arms ALL the terrorists in the world, but won't solve it's own homelessness problems at home.

John Kerry did not admit that the U.S. let ISIL grow, nice try. John Kerry basically implied that the United States at least considered the rise of ISIL would pressure Assad to the negotiation table.

I'm not sure what's your background whether you have any political or diplomatic knowledge and understand the language, that's one, then what knowledge do you have about the entire conflict? Do you know from where ISIS came into Syria? Do you have any idea how the 'US saw them growing'? Did you hear why that US increase their presence in Iraq to fight ISIS?

Unless you know that and have proper background you can't pick on the literal meaning of the words at the moment given without understanding how did the US see them growing when they had thousands of their troops in the same place where ISIS came from and how they never interfered to stop them in Iraq when their sole mission there was to stop them from growing, on the contrary they facilitated the movement of thousands of ISIS fighters in brand new Toyota 4x4 machine-gun mounted pickups, and how the US turned a blind eye to ISIS atrocities against the Iraqi Yazidis and Kurds just to use them in the future to pressure Assad, then who will stop them if Assad accepted to negotiate and how will the US stop them at that time?

Here's a background if you're interested in understanding the geopolitics of the Levant and Iraq in regard to the creation and growing of ISIS, and keep in mind that Hillary Clinton before a Congressional Hearing admitted that the US created al-Qaeda before in Afghanistan to use them against the Soviets, and pay close attention to the date this was published: https://www.syrianews.cc/isis-the-bombshell-interview-to-impeach-obama/
