Proud Dad Moment?
In a sense, yes, it was one of those days where you take a sigh of relief because your fledgling has reached a certain milestone in their own lives. Due to an ignorant and entirely lazy mother that he lived with for the past 3 years prior to coming 'home', getting a license is new territory for him. He actually failed the first attempt at the written test for his permit - which is required in Tennessee before you can become a licensed driver. He passed the road test today though, with flying colors.

In a weird way, it's almost like we're picking back up where we left off. I was just starting to teach him to drive and would have taken him to get his permit that school year, had my ex brought them home. Long story, and if anyone wants to hear the whole thing, feel free to ask me in a chat room some time. The main thing is though, he is super happy, which makes me super happy, and Freya is scared of car horns. Have a great evening my peoples and REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even while chasing Pokemon.

I always had to remind myself that children with divorced parents who had to split their childhood time between parents have their entire lives ahead of them to develop adult relationships with their parents. Hope that makes sense.💯
