Medvedev out of Monte Carlo after testing positive for Covid-19

World No 2 Danil Medvedev is set to miss the renainder of Monte Carlos masters after he tested positive for the covid-19.

The diagnosis of the Russian sees him withdraw form the tournament and move to self isolation where he'll get monitored by a physician assigned by tournament authorities.

Medvedev took part in the first round bye for the tournament which started on Monday.

He also had a practice session with World No 3 and eleven time Champion Rafael Nadal on Monday.

The Monte Carlo event is a one week event which runs from 12th-18th of April
