Who will shoot the shooter?
The world today seems to be going in a direction only those playing by its rules understand.
We live in a world where the men assume or believe themselves to be superior. While this is an illusion, we know society somehow give them such believe.
A typical parent in Nigeria believes men are superior. You hear them say, 'don't you know he's a man'? So literally, it is believed that we are stronger and should do things differently.
This same idea inform why many of our men believe they have liberty to do as they wish.
Recently, i read i piece where the writer argued that a single mother at 25 has no reason to expect a young and unmarried man to marry her.
His illogicality was premissed on his assumption that such lady must have 'useless' herself to have a child at that age.
His illogicality goes further to say while her mates were busy improving themselves, she went on to have baby and then started dreaming of a dream guy.
His position is that she shouldn't have such dream and leave such guys for equally young and undefiled ladies.
He failed to consider certain issues that might make such person single again. He failed to understand she must have married at 22 and unfortunately, her marriage didn't work, hence a need to move forward in life.
While his position sounds absurd to me, it simply shows the extent at which these men believe they are only entitled and have power to decide.
This same men couldn't give proper account of how many ladies they have laid with. They have simply lost count.
Many of them are young in age, but what they have done to other women is alarming. In reality, they are very old.
Funny enough, these same men are the real judge. They are the ones condemning ladies who fall prey to fellow 'shooters' like them.
Amazingly, many of them want untouched ladies to be their wives. Some travel back home to get wives in the village who are innocent.
While they have 'destroyed' many lives and their 'victims' would be married to other guys, they are busy looking and praying for untouched ladies.
It begs the question of integrity. They appears to be moral outwardly but what they have done shows they are the opposite of what they portrayed themselves to be.
Who will shoot these shooters? Will karma hold them soon? Will one of their 'preys' suddenly hook them on the neck and be their wives? Will karma make sure they never see untouched ladies to date let alone marry?
I hope there are answers and these men can't just feel they own the world and can decide to get things whenever they want it and ladies don't have such right?
If what men do to women in terms of copulation truly reads on their forehead, i bet many are typical example of women with 10-20 children!
Yet, these same men are the ones writing piece about who gets unmarried and who get married men as husband.
It shows the double standard in their thinking. I hope someone will get hold of these shooters soon.
