1. Turn off your smartphone

Try to find the strength to do without a phone while it is plugged in: just unplug it. So the smartphone will not consume battery power, and, accordingly, will charge faster. This is the simplest and most obvious action you can imagine.

2. Put the device in flight mode

Connecting to a mobile network, as well as using Wi ‑ Fi and Bluetooth, drain the battery. If you cannot turn off your smartphone for some reason, then at least put it in flight mode. And the load on the battery will decrease.

3. Do not play games or watch videos

This is also a very energy-consuming action. When you hang out in some tricked-out game with cool graphics, battery percentages may melt before our eyes, even if the gadget is connected to power. Therefore, no gaming and films.

4. Use a cable with quick charge function

Most modern smartphones are equipped with the function of the so-called quick charge, or Quick Charge. It works like this: a special adapter allows the battery to receive more voltage and current, so it fills faster.

Check the specifications of your smartphone and make sure it supports fast charging. If so, purchase a special charger whose specifications indicate the phrase Quick Charge. Or check if the cable that came with the smartphone does not support this mode.

But it is worth remembering that accelerated charging is possible only up to a certain percentage of the battery capacity - then the process slows down so that the battery does not overheat. So this is ideal for when the smartphone is at zero, and soon you need to go somewhere.

5. Use a power outlet, not a USB port

Your computer’s USB port or car charger provides less power than a power outlet. Therefore, the smartphone from them will charge more slowly. To achieve maximum energy storage speed, connect the device directly to a wall outlet.

6. Prefer cable to wireless charging

Wireless charging is a very convenient thing if you just want to put a smartphone on it, forget about it, and then pick it up fully charged. But when you need to fill the battery as quickly as possible, it is better to choose a connection to the power supply via a wire.

7. Turn off the synchronization process

If it is not possible to connect the gadget to a power outlet or a power bank and only a computer is at hand, you will have to charge from a USB port. But even in this case, the process can be slightly accelerated. To do this, after connecting the cable, select the "Charging only" mode. You will not be able to transfer files to your smartphone, but battery recharge will speed up a bit.

8. Do not overheat or overcool the smartphone

When overheating or overcooling, batteries accumulate more slowly and lose their charge more quickly. And in general, heat and cold adversely affect the health of the battery. Best smartphone will feel at normal room temperature.

Therefore, do not place the device on charging in cold places, or, conversely, on a sun-drenched window sill. If the room is hot, at least remove the cover from the device.

9. Use only high-quality power cables

It will be ideal to charge your smartphone via a cable provided by the manufacturer and supplied with the device. If you have lost the original, it is better to re-order the same than to buy the first one.

Surely you noticed that from high-quality cables, the smartphone energizes faster than from non - original - for example, taken from a friend. You can measure the charging speed using the Ampere app.
