I JUST SAW A MOVIE I LIKED

And that doesn't happen very often...

Given that I recently did a post saying "all modern music is UTTER SHIT", what about movies?
While I do proclaim MOST modern movies are utter shit as well, I do think there are occasional exceptions. And this is one I really enjoyed:
Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood
The latest Quentin Tarantino movie is set in 1969 Hollywood and is about a fading actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his friend and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) There are a bunch of other well known actors and over 2000 classic cars. It is really well done with exceptional acting and a real feel for the time.

1966 Cadillac DeVille and 1964 VW Karmann Ghia – Sony Pictures
For a full review, check out this one one on All Movie Guide (although I disagree about the pacing criticism, and thought the pacing was really good).

The cars were an achievement in themselves and car geeks might find this article interesting:

What? There is a movie that won't make me throw up and throw things at the screen?

I mean, i can't watch 5 minutes of TV without shouting at the TV, "liar"
(even when its not the news playing)

Soooo, its really possible?
Well, if it is possible, Quentin Tarantino could pull it off

Same here! - but yes, this possibly the first movie I've seen this decade that doesn't appear to be doing some form of sheeple programming (at least if it is, I didn't realise!)

One for the notebook.... mostly when I watch movies these days I use them as tranquilisers. No rational or constructive thought required..... and I switch off at anytime. There must be hundreds of movies for which I have never seen the ending.
oiii Vrot... I see your reply to me got flagged ??? Who did you piss off?
