- Moon cake syrup 250g
- Peanut oil 80g
- Cake flour Moon Cake 400g
- Alkaline powder 5g
- Black bean paste
1 - 2 mooncake mould (any mooncake mould of your choice)
For filing -cut and roll into balls bean paste in about 40g each.
Mixed together ingredients to form a dough.
Rest for a while.
Then, cut and roll the dough into balls in about 40g each.
Gently press the dough ball with you palm and wrap it arround the bean ball paste.
Place the stuffed round mooncake into the mould. Turn it UPRIGHT on the surface.
Then press the plunger down until you feel resistance.
Egg wash them before baking (yolk only).
Bake for 15 - 18 minutes at 180c or until brown.
