This korean flix is beautifully crafted into ten episodes of 1 hour each. Currently, I've watched 3 full episodes. My sister introduced this to me a couple of days ago.

One of the Wiki's for this film and the rating is 87 / 100.

Jong Woo gets a new job working as an intern in a new company in Soeul, Korea in a small office that his friend owns. He isn't from the city and is poor in Korean standards so he decided to get a cheap place to rent for the next couple of months while he builds up his capital to perhaps earn enough to move out. He finds this really cheap studio apartment that is up a hill and is due for redevelopment in the coming months. This studio consist of three storeys upwards from the third floor all the way up to the roof.

The room

His room is tiny. Only enough for his bed and his bathroom is shared.

Things get dark from day one. I do not want to spoil the movie, so I will just write a brief view of what I think made me want to watch this Korean Flix.

This is the trailer. It is quite dark but fear not, the parts where any nasty gore and blood comes, it is not directly shown but it is represented in a different way to prevent you from having your meals vomited out. There are some of the parts I think that doesn't make sense in a way. However, I watch it without having to relate to real life situation but more of a comic adaptation. It is definitely something new that has been created really well with great timing and artistic interpretation of the whole drama. If you love anything Stephen King, this is one that you would not want to miss out.

Unlogical parts

Once Jung Woo moved into this place where all his other mates or neighbours around him act pretty bizzarely, why won't he even just leave that place? I do understand that money was something he had problems with, but then he could have just gotten another place. If you felt something really strange about a place that you rented, won't you leave?

The killer is a neighbourhood ( ), but doesn't he need to work? Why does he have so much time to stalk his victim peeping them from a peep hole the next door? There was also another scene with the killer that did not make sense where the killer's apprentice suddenly appeared at the back of the car of the detective's car and murdered him. How could the detective not detect something wrong from all his detective work and the killer knew his car?

Do enjoy this drama series. I think it is pretty thrilling to watch and by the end of the episode, you would want to watch the next. They keep the most thrilling parts towards the end.

I am challenging myself to watch all netflix's horror movies, be it dramas or movies and write about them.
