My pet - the flowerhorn
Recently, I've changed the water for my pet fish which is one of the species of flowerhorns. I bought this fish from my friend many years ago. I guess she is at least three years old now. I wonder how many years would this fish live? It was barely the size of my palm a couple of years ago. However, it has grown a couple of size bigger.
The aquarium that houses this fish is 4feet long and the water that I place into it is quite a lot. Having a fish is indeed one of the best. Less maintanence except for water change and food feeding. No worries too for vacations as they can last a long time without food. I usually buy those pellets that can last for a week if i go on a vacation.
I still haave loads of plans for my aquarium but it will be a while before I do that. Currently, my plans amid the bull run towards the end of 2021 as I expect it to run through is to invest into cryptos as much as I possibly could.
The only thing that we have to be careful about when we have pet fish is the water condition and the salt amount. THe water needs to be kept for a couple of weeks to have the chlorine removed. Salt and anti chlorine are essenstials too. Microbes grow if there isn't enough salt and one time it caused my fish to have its eyes inflammed and I thought it was a goner and I quickly got salt and it was saved. Thank god.
