It was one of those lazy days when we don't cook at home and eat outside. We went outside for lunch but somehow we made a decision to eat pasta for lunch. I know it sounds weird but that's how life is when friends are around. So, we went to a street food vendor to eat pasta. It is actually a very small restaurant with 2-3 seats inside but we decided to eat outside the restaurant.

It is located in the West Patel Nagar area of New Delhi. The name of the restaurant is "pizza paradise" but they also serve pasta, rolls and burgers apart from what name suggests. As we had thought earlier that we were going to eat pasta, so we ordered pasta straightaway without even looking at the menu which was placed on the table. We ordered white sauce pasta which is my favorite one. While waiting for our pasta to arrive, we browsed through the menu and found out that all the items were at very cheap rates.


The menu consists of two parts. On one part of the menu, you can see all the veg items listed while on the other part of the menu, all the items listed are non veg. As most of the people in India are vegetarians, restaurants prefer to separate veg and non veg items from each other. We couldn't find pasta on the menu so we asked the owner where is pasta on the menu and he told us that the menu only has pizzas. He showed us the other list of items which was pasted on his counter. Finally the pasta arrived and this is how it looked.

It took them more than 10 minutes to prepare the pasta but I must tell you that it was worth all the wait. The pasta was very tasty and cheap at the same time. It was priced at 140 INR which is roughly equal to $2. They had added some vegetables and corn in the pasta and the combination was really good. This restaurant is nearby and we have now decided to visit it often.
I would recommend this restaurant for the people who want to eat good food without burning their pockets. They really have good food at very affordable rates.
