Moc rice noodle

I were very excited to write new post to share about new dish, but you know what? Vietnam food very variety and I don't know all the name of dish in English, when I write new post, I must to research about the dish to know english name. Today, I write about a type of rice noodle and it's so hard to find the right english name of noodle.

Introduction

Moc rice noodle (Bun Moc), the dish originated in northern Vietnam, call Moc because the material is the meatball in the bowl, beside meatball, you can custom Bun Moc with pork rib, sliced cinnamon rolls, sausage lived, minced meat, mushrooms....
In the past, Moc rice noodle very famous at Moc village (now is Thanh Xuan district, Ha Noi), but now you can eat bun Moc at every where in Vietnam with variety taste base on each region

Location

I wrote one post at the restaurant last year, and now I come back again. Com nieu Cao Phat located in route 1A, Suoi Tre, Long Khanh, Dong Nai.

Bun Moc

I eat breakfast at here, they sale bun Moc, pork rib rice, egg rice and Nam Vang noodle for breakfast. I select bun Moc because I don't want too much in the morning.

Beside meatball, I see pork rib, tofu and sausage inside nodle bowl, the broth not bold like Pho and the rice noodle not big like Quang noodle.

The bowl so big, it's near double a normal bowl and I can't finish one alone, the noodle so soft and you can swallow and do not need to chew.

They also service coffee, soya milk and green bean milk, because I want to sleep when go to the bus so I select green bean milk instead coffee. I need keep health for our trip.

The Space

Because not located in big city like Saigon or Hanoi, so the restaurant not need pay a large sum for rent and the spcace so large and airy.

The front of the restaurant so big, you can stand and see the front view too big and high

Rate

I don't know the price because I not pay the bill, but the price about ~30.000 VND(~1.3$). If you go through route 1A, don't forget Cao Phát restaurant and enjoy Bun Moc.
