Australia Food Guide - #14 Maleny Bakery, Maleny
Since you can not always go to the fancy restaurants or expensive street food stalls here in Australia, a good Bakery sometimes is good enough. Especially when they have good Meat Pies.
We were lucky to find the Maleny Bakery yesterday for a early lunch snack.
Da man hier in Australien nicht immer in die schicken Restaurants oder teuren Street Food Imbisse gehen kann, ist eine gute Bäckerei manchmal genug. Besonders wenn sie gute Meat Pies haben.
Wir hatten das Glück, gestern die Maleny Bakery für einen frühen Mittagssnack zu finden.
This award winning bakery is in the heart of Maleny, a town in the hinterland of the sunshine coast. From the outside it looks like a normal bakery but inside you´ll see that they offer lots of yummy things like all kinds of meat pies, some delicious looking vietnamese Banh Mi and so many different pastries.
Diese preisgekrönte Bäckerei befindet sich im Herzen von Maleny, einer Stadt im Hinterland der Sonnenküste. Von außen sieht es aus wie eine normale Bäckerei, aber innen sieht man, dass sie viele leckere Sachen wie alle Arten von Meat Pies, ein paar köstlich aussehende vietnamesische Banh Mi und jede Menge verschiedenes Gebäck anbieten.
For a bakery they have plenty of tables to choose from, inside as well as outside. But since it was raining heavily we sat inside.
Für eine Bäckerei gibt es sowohl drinnen als auch draußen eine große Auswahl an Tischen. Da es aber heftig regnete, saßen wir drinnen.
Since it was a bit early for a big meal we went to this bakery and ordered two Meat Pies. I love these Pies, I just take care that I do not have them too often as it is not the most healthy dish 😁
We had a Chunky Steak Pie as well as a Bacon and Cheese Pie and both were absolutely delicious.
Da es für eine große Mahlzeit etwas früh war, gingen wir zu dieser Bäckerei und bestellten zwei Meat Pies. Ich liebe diese Pies, ich passe nur auf, dass ich sie nicht zu oft esse, da es nicht das gesündeste Gericht ist 😁
Wir hatten einen Chunky Steak Pie sowie einen Bacon and Cheese Pie und beide waren absolut lecker.

Probably some 17 years since I have been to the Maleny Bakery.
