I'm taking you along with me as I create a new card deck for myself. I will create it with an American Indian theme as I did once before. What is Lenormand? - check out my previous article.

Card 28 - MAN

Now, here's a card I've been waiting for for ages... It was literally months ago when I found the beautiful picture being featured on this card. I fell in love instantly!

So, here's the run down on this card. I'm not going to go into ethereal realms with this one - or intuition. This card is exactly what it appears... a person, particularly a male person.

  • If you are a man, it may refer to you, a male partner or a rival.
  • If you are a woman, it may refer to a partner (real or desired).
  • Think of both positive and negative aspects of the male gender.
  • Positive: strong, protective, provider; negative: egotistical or proud.

For my new card, For my new card, I hit Google Images search, looking for something with CC0 (Creative Commons 0) licensing meaning that I don't always have to remember to credit someone - essential if I were to start doing paid readings with these cards.

I also had to find out which traditional playing card is associated with this card. So, here is my result:

I love this picture because it exemplifies the ideal Native man, in many ways. He's very handsome, strong with leadership skills - meaning he's a wise and fair diplomat of sorts.
I didn't need to do much to the image, I found it perfect the way it was.

I used GIMP to layer on the playing card, then exported it to Photoscape where I added the text and the margin. That was it.

You're very welcome, and I just happened to back at my keyboard a few minutes before you posted. I've been outside off and on all afternoon with my boy, trying to dig out from the 18ish inches of the lovely white stuff that's been falling since Sunday night... 😮 ❄️ ⛄️

That's a lot all at once! We had 9 inches or so from Black Friday to the next day... But there's no more in the forecast at the moment. We've had a very snowy fall.
