My Actifit Report Card: November 22 2019

avatar

Friday.

Finally Friday. And finally I am back to making my actifit post on the same day again. Ugh... what a week!

Had a decent bit of walking in the early evening. I came by this old church and I could faintly hear someone playing the organ inside. It made for a very special atmosphere!

Later on I drove out to see Hazel and we went on another stroll to catch some pokemon where we could see the modern cathedrals of today's faith glowing far away on the horizon.

Thanks for your time!

As an organist, I would have barged in and critiqued the performance 😜 @untersatz curate

They were clearly practicing in there... so I think you would have had a lot of reasons to critique :P

The pictures are nice. I left religions behind years ago, but I can still appreciate the architecture and the organ music. Hehe!

I was raised without any religious imprint at all (which is quite common in Europe I think... while I lived abroad in the States for a while I was a bit shocked to see how significant church-going still is there!) but these old Churches and Cathedrals are truly something amazing and beautiful... a testament to the capabilities of people... and a testament to their desire of receiving guidance?!

I don't know... I think faith is a wonderful thing... religions are mostly power structures... this is a topic that quickly gets me rambling...

Anyways... it's a beautiful building for sure, and especially impressive with the lights glowing in the windows and the hum of the big organ sending the vibes into the night.
