As we always stop at the Guggenheim Museum, he is always the protagonist, since his titanium skin makes it always different, sad and mysterious in the dark days that threaten rain.
Bright and with a thousand reflections the days that are beautiful and blue today.
But today we will look at a sculpture that almost nobody knows it is.
Fog Sculpture
From the Japanese artist Fukiyo Nakaya
The work is not inside the museum nor is it static in its surroundings, rather it is part of the spirit of the museum as if it were a ghost.
Every hour at ground level the fog arises, first soft and subtle, but as time passes it becomes thick and white.
On this occasion it is almost no wind and you can see how she forms a mantle above the pond.
But as the fog rises, he swings the air, covering everything around him, leaving that white film almost bluish by the reflection of the sky.
We walked like a tourist in the fog without knowing until recently that it was a work of art, we thought it was just a beautiful and different thing.
We enjoy this Sunday, between the fog of this living sculpture and the sculpture of Mama the great spider that has made the Guggenheim his home.
