Sublime Beautiful Sunday | Happy Women's Day @ 8th March 2020

It's Sunday... And it's time for another Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday. So, I'm trying something new this week. Something out of the box, something different, something wild, something odd and who knows where this Sunday will lead us.

It's WOMEN'S Day for all female gender in this world. A day that we say thanks to our mother's and daughter's. A day that we appreciate them more than ever.

In this country, women are deemed to be the pillar of strength, kindness and above all the Queen. Women are more important than any Man, Husband or Son. That is why Women's Day and Mother's Day are celebrated as compared to Father's Day. Something that I can understand seeing that women are the ones constantly working and in some families are the breadwinner while the men just sit and have iced coffee 24/7.

All the florist shops in town have been filled with orders and deliveries since beginning of the week. Strong minded and career women have been receiving flowers from organisations who show respect to these women. Something that I find uniquely strange and quite sexism since I come from a society of fairness between men & women. Where men work just as hard as women and both stands a mutual opportunity to hold great positions in any organisation.

As I am still very new to this country, I tend to take things lightly and not be too overly enveloped by its customs and beliefs. There are some customs that I am not too overly fond of which I stray away and play ignorant. Thankfully, I'm a foreigner to this country and at certain occasions, I choose to behave as a foreigner. After all, they have the habit of speaking in their own language even when I'm around. Something which they never learn about how rude it can be.

Anyhow, here is a orchid plant which I happened to see at one of the florist shops today. It was getting prepared to be delivered; I would presumed that whoever the receiver was must be really high-profile and important. Such rare orchids don't come easy and it is extremely expensive if deliveries are made on the actual day.

So, to all women out there, Happy Women's Day !!
