The Bynum Run Park Pond

My photos today were taken at the Bynum Run Park Pond which is located at 715 E Churchville Road in Bel Air, Maryland. I visited last week to take some photos of the waterfowl on the pond. I didn't stay long as it was pretty cold and windy but the waterfowl didn't seem to mind the cold at all..lol.

The park is not very big but the pond is quite large. The pond is shallow and I was told by a family member, who lives nearby, that it is less then three feet deep.

There is a paved walking trail that surrounds the pond but I did not walk on it very far and in the summertime it does get crowded so finding a parking spot can be difficult.

I saw different breeds of ducks and geese in addition to many seagulls.

One of my favorites that I saw were these Toulouse Geese.

This isn't really a spot that I would make a special trip out for. I've passed by it many times and only decided to stop this time as it was not crowded due to the time of year.

It is a great spot to get some photos of the birds though. As far as walking, I'll stick to any trail along the Gunpowder Falls. Preferably on a day a little warmer and way less windy!
