RE: Faith in Humanity - Evil of Indifference

As a older person who has traveled the world a bit, and lived outside the US for a few decades...
I give this post a lot of thought, as I have seen people as bad as their parents, so maybe it's genetic - honestly.
I have seen people, not raised by their parents & still just like them - as soon as they got the chance, so I don't know..
I consider most of what we see "mind viruses", especially the "indifference"...
Where the attitude of he didn't do anything, why should I?
But the real biggie which allows this "ALL", for the most part is people's personal relationship with their place in "Western Society".
And I say this because as you remove elements of Western Society, most violence drops...🤔🧐😳😲
If You find this unbelievable,
check for Yourself! 👍🏼😁👍🏼
Awesome Wake-up Call!

@lesmann

Thank you for your response. Your logic about the genetics between a parent a child is sound and factual. Our code is a combination of DNA passed down from our parents. Our DNA, according to science, forms the biological structures we depend upon today, but that's not all. Society, our environment, shapes us into who we become.

I can't comment intelligently on the reduction of violence following removal of behaviors in Western Society as a response to your statement. However, I will agree that there are behaviors we can do without at the societal level that would improve us as a species.

I will also say it would be a great topic to write about in the future.
