Things We Learned From Doing A Week on Porn
Hi Steem Fam!
We covered one of the most controversial and taboo topics we've ever done last week. That's right ladies and gentleman, we talked aaalll about porn - the good, the bad and the complicated.
We had some interesting discoveries that were fun to reflect on. Here's what we learned from last week:
Ya'll Were Super Interested in this Topic
Our viewcounts skyrocketed this week! Considering that our episode are between 15-20ish minutes long, we were pretty excited to see this. Here's a comparison of a regular week to last week:
Although a little low - view counts like this on our show aren't totally uncommon on a regular week.
But the week on porn performed just a little bit better...
We figured this topic might draw in more people than a usual week - but we were thrilled to see so many of you checking out the show!
We Had a LOT to Say
Mary was super nervous going into this week because she had never really discussed porn with other people before. I just kept telling her, "Why not start with the internet?" The things I put that poor girl through!
I'm a lot more comfortable talking about it because it's something my friends and I chat about casually and easily - but I think Mary was really surprised once we got into it... that she actually had a lot to say and had some pretty well-articulated thoughts on the porn industry and porn itself. It was actually some of the most fun we've had filming in a while because it just flowed and was easy to talk about!

Due to scheduling conflicts, Mary and I are getting together today to film instead of Monday! That means if you want to submit a question for our topic of "Discovering Yourself" - then you can! (no, this topic is not a continuatin on porn week 😂) We thought this would be a fun topic to discuss because Mary is in the middle of the classic mid-20's crisis of trying to figure out "what to do with your life", and I just turned 30 and am feeling ready to hit the ground running and make stuff happen.

i must say i was kind of curious when seeing 2 blushy cheek girls going to talk about porn but i didn't regret watching, a lot of honesty was there and made it worthwhile, job well done!

You went for Round 2 great job. You both always do a good job putting a face to the thoughts & questions re: Porn and other topics. Oh, yes there is plenty of other porn fetishes like Food porn, Feet porn , and even Ice Cream porn along with many others. If we delegate to both your accounts some PORN tokens would it be to @coruscate and @maryjaney - ? Not saying you have to use it ;-) just as gesture for a great 2 part series on all this.
