Thursday Tubular Journey: Engelhard American Prospector Silver Rounds #3

There are four silver rounds in this tube (blue top) of Engelhard American Prospector Silver Rounds, and today I am adding a couple more to the tube.

This inner package is part of my silver order for the month.

1984 and 1984 Engelhard American Prospector

Silver Round, 1 ozt, .999 fine silver

Engelhard's The American Prospector Silver rounds were the first bullion rounds that were marketed by Engelhard to the public, adding a sense of historical value and collectibility to these silver rounds.

The 1984 Silver round was the third year of issue from the famous Prospector series and first to feature the eagle design. These rounds are no longer being minted.

Obverse: Image of a prospector panning for Gold, the words "U.S.A.", the year 1984 and "The American Prospector."

Reverse: Displays an American Eagle along with the weight and purity of the round.

The silver rounds need to be transfered from the flips to airtite capsules, then into the tube.
Now I have two 1982, three 1984, and one 1987 Engelhard American Prospector Silver Rounds.

.... and the tube goes back into the cigar Silver Box for safekeeping.

We will revisit the cigar Silver Box again on the next edition of Thursday Tubular Journey.

The key to stacking is..."over time". Unless I obtain these rounds from an LCS around my area, I can't get just one or two a month. I can't go about this like I do my ASE which is 5 or more a month. But do be in the lookout for them, because I will take them as you find them, @stokjockey!

I am enjoying this particular goal, and it keeps me focused. My attraction for other art rounds has waned even when they are so shiny attractive. Going public with this goal is working wonders for me, dude... otherwise I will find myself getting more of the very attractive generic round instead of my foundational stack and basic yearly collection goal (which is one each of the world mint coins).

Yes, the weather is good here, the sun is up and Spring-like temps! I love it. The trees are starting to flower too!
I love these rounds, and hipe to really be able to find ones that are still priced reasonably. That reminds me, I should call the nearest LCS (which is really quite far from where I work or live) and see if they have some! They are actually readily available online, but not within my price range.

We need to trade Weather LOL....The trees are starting to bud, but all it takes is a bad winter storm!
Last year the neighbor lost all the apples because of this back and fourth weather!
I can understand not being in your price range, I'm having the same problem. For the moment I am building Oz's and I will shop for the best value. Part of me believes fractional Gold might be better now even with the crazy Gold/Silver ratio.
They always have a lid on Silver...But I continue to see upward movement in Gold.

I was at the LCS yesterday, No Engelhard rounds except the big old 10, 25 oz poured bars of Moocho dollars (sorry, no Pictures allowed) but I escaped with a First Majestic round.

They sometimes are easy to find, but most of the time they are aren't available at LCS'. Ebay and online dealers would have them, but so unreasonably priced. I will get them only if they make my price points, lol! Hunting for these rounds at reasonable premiums makes this journey enjoyable and interesting for me.

You know, I really am not a hard stacker, it just so happened that they were available at my price point. These aren’t easy to come by. But I do wish that will be able to fill the tube at a steady pace. It all depends on the availability of the rounds. Have a good evening, my friend @ronaldoavelino, take care 🥰🌺🤙
