Fiesta Tuesday: Circulating Coins

avatar

I was curious about how the circulating coins from Mexico look like. And I found these photos of random date coins (1970 - 2018).
These remind me of the casino token collection of @summertooth.

Personally, I love the circulating coins of America, and enjoy accumulating loose change in jars. Photo Source

And these ones here are from what I have with me in my purse and office drawer (I am completing this article while on my coffee break!)

The circulating coins of America are beautiful, a novice collector can have quite a large and lovely collection of circulating US Coins. Look at the circulating Susan B Anthony Dollar, the "Golden Dollars" (Presidential Dollars and Sacagawea Dollar), the Ike Dollars, the JFK Half Dollar, the many beautiful designs of US Quarters.... Not shown here are the pennies, nickels and dimes.

Do you have a favorite circulating coin?

Mine too, the Walkers are my favorite US Constitutional Silver. Rarely now do one find silver coins circulating, they are all mostly now in the hands of stackers and collectors and coin roll hunters, hehehe. So the ones I took a photo of are circulating clad coins. I did just received an order of US Constitutional coins, which I may or may not show. But if I do, I shall dedicate the article to you and tag you, @monsterjamgold. OH.... but tomorrow, I am going to show two UK 50 pence... and if you do have time tomorrow, check out the article and leave me your opinion of the coins.
Have a lovely day, my friend, and take care.

Indeed you are first! Woot, woot!!! And thank you🙂! So... I was once again amazed to see so many beautiful US circulating coins. Sometimes I tend to take for granted and therefore ignore just how beautiful or coinage is here in America! I think it comes from focusing so much on silver and gold coinage.
Have a wonderful day, @stokjockey and Take care 🥰🌺🤙

I usually raid my local "coin star" machine at the supermarket, and that's the OK nly place I can find US circulated Coinage. I still get a thrill when ever I find one and hoping it's pre-1945 😉

You have beautiful circulating coins in the UK. Tomorrow I will feature two that I received from BackyardBullion, but I do not know much about it. I think that you have a collection of them. So hopefully you will be able to tell me more about it tomorrow, if you have time away from your beautiful princess tomorrow. Do companies there provide days away from work for paternity leave?
Have a good day (night), dude... and Happy BabyMoon! Take care 🥰🌺🤙

I work for the National Health Service, which gives 2 weeks paternity leave. On top of that I've also got another 3 weeks annual leave, so a whopping 5 weeks home with mum and baby.

Plus it also means I can do the school run with 1/2pint, so I can spend some good time with him too.

I do get a little thrill finding a foreign coin in my change or from a Coinstar machine where I get most of them. Then add it to my Father's potpourri of non-silver circulating coins.
Mexico has a huge catalog listing of coins going way back when the Mexico mint barely had its paint dry on the walls.
US coins can fill in a catalog of thier own as well.
I found a digital copy of the 2017 Krause world coin catalog, it's huge!
Always, with love 🌺🤗💝🌹

Have another great day of R&R beautiful sis @kerrislravenhill! Take care 🥰🌺🤙 and a million Hugs and Kisses 🤗💕💋!

In my coin purse I carry a 2000 Sacagawea Dollar among my circulating Brazilian coins. It is a little larger than the R$.25 and has the same color...

Nicely done! I have to agree-they do look like @summertooth's casino tokens. I like collecting the US circulating coins as well. I put them in Annabelle (my sheep bank) and let them build. It's an awesome way to save without realizing you are, lol! And, who doesn't have tons of change; in their purse, pockets, door cubbies of their cars - it goes everywhere! Thanks for sharing sweet sis!😎👍🤗

@summertooth thinks so too, hehehe! A sheep bank! My piggy bank is sterling silver. I've gotta show you that one. Everytime I come across a Sacagawea dollar or an SBA dollar, itautomatically goes in that small bank. Another thing in common with us, my sweet sis @elizabethbit! We both have piggy banks! How cool is that? Take care, sis and I will see you again tomorrow 🥰🌺🤙

They do look like the casino silver strike tokens.
My favorite circulating coin is any one I find in my change that happens to be dated pre-1964 😉
Oh and I am right there with you with jars of change. I used to use it as a Vegas fund when I lived closer. 🎉🎉

Many agree... they do look like your tokens. Haha... you had an LV fund... I see now that you do look at your LV trips something to save for, just as I save for my travels. Me too, my faves are US Constitutional silver! Have a wonderful evening, @summertooth! Take care 🥰🌺🤙

Isn't it amazing how loose change builds up, and how nice it is when you can exchange it for Silver!!!🤗
I can hear the sound of your Silver dumping out of that box.....Music to my ears @silversaver888!!!😍😀🤗

Several years ago, I watched a youtube video where this woman and her family would put all their loose change into this jar at the end of the day. The video was about the time they brought the jar to a Walmart coin machine. The video showed the digital counter screen as the coins were being tallied... and I tell you... it watched that segment to inspire and motivate me to keep on saving. And I drilled it into my head as I was watching: PENNIES, NICKELS, and DIMES ADD UP!!!
Take care, my friend, @silvertop 🥰🌺🤙 and keep on saving!

Awwww.... I appreciate you for taking the time to check my articles out, my friend @hangin 😊! I know that you have first-hand experience in stacking having done it before. Stacking and coin collecting is a fruitful hobby. But for myself, I stack silver and gold to save and store value.
This morning, I viewed your reflection photos.. and I am still amazed on the beautiful scenes you captured! Magnificent!!!
Have a lovely day, @hangin, and take care 🥰🌺🤙
