It only makes sense, @stokjockey... and so does shopping around and comparing prices, especially in the secondary market. I wish I lived in a city where there are many LCS around, like where you are. Is your experience that LCSs sell at higher (or lower) prices than regular online dealers for comparable silver?

The LCS's treat all transactions differently and What I have noticed is if a Dealer has just made a Large Purchase of lets say Silver I may get a really Good Price for what I want to buy just Because they want to turn the Silver for a quick profit.....

I have a couple buffalo rounds but they are vintage ones. You are a steady stacker. I was buying dips for a while to get my average cost down. But ran out of cash...😪

Buying the dips (or not the dips) in cash is the way to go, bestie! I am like you, I will not buy if I do not have the cash for it, rather than buying using credit... that does not make sense, to me anyway.

It is so funny and crazy how I find myself comparing silver rounds/coins and then going for the online dealer selling an item for a cent less, then I go to the grocery and buy my usual brands of some specific food without comparing prices and usually paying more than I should. That is really inconsistent, don't you think? How time flies so fast. Next week is Valentine's Week!!!

I worked for a big box retailer for 20 years and earned a 10% discount for life for all those years. What I am now finding that a certain online retailer has better pricing than the big box retailer. Even counting the 10% discount doesn't make it worth my while to trek 25 miles one way into town; have the wear and tear on the car; and my frustration of how people drive both cars and shopping carts, not to mention the time I take to go to town. I am finding it not worth the few pennies saved with the discount when I can have it delivered to my door. Unfortunately, not all things are attainable that way, so I pick and choose my battles, lol!

This is very wise advice my friend, My buying of Silver and Gold was always in cash, and every Month slow and steady just keep stacking!
How many times have I heard this advice, and it's so true!! They had a stock investment years ago called Share Builders, and this same principle applied.

Hahaha... I had Share Builders, and still have it even as they were absorbed by Capital Ine Investing. I have some investments through them and I did dividend reinvesting. Amazing, isn't it!
