Before I go to bed and before I delete the pics I took intended for a post on Steem, here are two cheeky pieces I got from a different shop that I went to.

The Australian dollar rounds are actually 10% cheaper than the shop I go to but the shop isn't so cool.

Dam where did I even put the camera?!

I only got this because I went in the new shop and looked around and I had a spare note in my pocket, but its not an eye pleasure - but its is 40g of silver!

From my regular shop..

..I saw they had some Canadian Dollars, and there was one with a Bison (dont have em in any country I ever lived in, so correct my labeling as correct!) It is dirty but I don't care, I swapped a piece of paper for it that someone in this world is paying interest on!

Big believer in acupuncture here. I've seen it work wonders.
I know that bar is not fancy bu I like the sleek look of it, nice score.

I hope it works for you. I had that a couple of times and was not too thrilled with it. I guess I like the old-school technique.

I got a few silver things stashed about, an old silver tea pot, a beautiful silver spoon, and a few other things that have small amount of pure silver on them like watches I've found laying around over the years. Don't know what I'll do with them yet.

I bought over 100 Mercury dimes recently for only $1.95 a pop!
Ended up getting a bunch of the years that I was missing, mainly in the 1920's. Did you know that in 1922 they didn't mint any dimes at all?

Who downvoted the comment here 🤣
They were making dimes from mercury?!

Oh just some nutzo that flagged me first for no reason, so I downvoted and he literally downvoted every comment or post I had made. His VP is at 3% though Im not worried about it :P

Actually pretty impressed he had time to do that.

Oh and no the dimes are made from 90% silver they were just dubbed that by people right after they were created cuz of the Mercury winged cap.

The Bison silver coin looks really cool!
What's the address or name of the shop you bought it from?
How much do you usually pay for each silver coin?

Hi! I usually go to one called numerix I think it's called on the corner by øvre slottsgate, it has MYNT on the building, white with green windows..

You get 28g of fine silver for 200kr, oh and next door is a superb salat buffet

Thanks.
Silver and gold have always been a good option for transferring and storing value discreetly in time of economical upheaval.
The only better physical storage of value is precious gems. In times of political unrest and persecution a lot of people would wear their wealth in the form of jewelry, often hidden under clothes. Furthermore a few small gems pack huge value and be easily hidden in one's body if needed!

Hmm I never thought about gems! Haven't got a huge amount of wealth tho (at the moment!) Haha!

That's what I liked about gold, I got a few 1.24g coins of pur gull and they were 500kr each, and so tiny that 5000kr worth would be such a small physical mass it surprised me 😄
