Sorry @silverd510 I must interrupt my original #worldcoinwednesday post for this late breaking earth shattering news. My 2019 Steem Round has finally arrived!
But this joy was not without the challenges that would test anyone’s patience.
I will not need to dwell on that.
Like a new mother who forgets the pain after the birth of her child is overcome in joy and relief.
The story began with the opportunity to admonish a Steemian special to me. My Nominee is @silversaver888 as we were friends across other platforms well before coming to Steemit.
SSGThe prizes are 5 pairs of 2019 Steem Rounds, one for the Writer and the Nominee as stated in the Original Contest Post by @ssg-community aka @dfinney
1What a great initiative to get Steemians involved and not just the Steemsilvergold community but open to all!
This came on the backdrop of declining member rolls, lower posting volumes, declining Steem values and Hard fork fallout. Everyone’s morale could use a boost! And I wanted most is to see my Sister get this round.
If you guys only knew the amount of hours and thought I put into my post.
1When the decision of the judges came I was so excited, this would be my first Steem round and more important was that my sis @silversaver888 will be deservedly getting one too.
Seeing her get her round in the mail I can really say, “I’m happy for you!”
That was around Christmas.
1Four weeks later my patience turned into anxiety. Seeing about everyone having received their magnificent Steem round but I was still left waiting. From our Discord channel I know of one other yet to get his Steem Round.
That, “I’m happy for you!” becoming…”Oh really, I’m happy for you.”
It wasn’t until late January that Ray checked up on my status and he decided to send me another. And just ten days later here we are!
1Wow, this side is almost Proof-like. A quality product!
Again I congratulate the other winners of this beautiful 2019 Edition Silver Steem round.

Oh you're quick tonight Sis.
That was the second packet Ray sent me, I still haven't seen the first one yet nor am I expecting it anymore. It's gone into that Twilight Zone mail blackhole.
I still have @edthecanadian's package of my second Steem round coming up and then some. Bagging a Steem round means I needed a second round as if in the future I didn't want my kids fighting over the only one I got.
I'm thinking long term for them.

Stackitis manifests itself in unique ways to different patients.
We are responsible for our own financial health and can't truly depend on someone else to make the decisions for us.
So in many ways most patients become their own experts and I am delighted about that. I wouldn't be the person I am If I were not a Patient myself from this disease so I can be empathetic to others that suffer the same thing.

Thank you @txatxy it is beautiful physical silver round representative of the Steem Community, it encapsulates the vision of the designer and spirit of the communities involved with it to this final form.
There was a considerable effort and logistics behind the scenes to put this into production.
Then all the incredible posts entered to win.
Then that black box called the Postal system was the final obstacle.
My original prize never came through the gauntlet but the Replacement finally came through. 🤗

My friend, I am happy that you finally received your SteemRound. I asked Ray to send mine to my daughter in Canada and they only arrived at the end of January. Canadian Post is very slow...

Thank you @ronaldoavelino , the Postal service in my region is spotty, some months it's not bad, others not as good. I think they are still pushing for Community mail boxes but I don't think it will solve the overall sorting and bulk delivery system, then again I hear anecdotal rumors of mail theft. I've lost goods or had very long delivery times before but it's getting more frequent in the last two years. I know a person that works in the system.
