Steem South Africa - Content Curation No. 1
It is really fantastic to see how quickly everybody has jumped onto using our #steemsa tag - so thank you all for that because it makes it super easy to identify great content by fellow South Africans so that we can share it in posts like this as well as on our new Twitter account - speaking of which, if you have not joined us there yet, please do. Also - we would love to start seeing some more of you jump onto our discord server. If you are interested, please drop a comment on this post.
In order to try and connect us all more efficiently so that we can show support to other South African content creators on the Steem network - we will now be doing regular curation posts like this one which will highlight a handful of posts which we feel deserve great exposure! So take a look through the selections and don't be shy in showing them some love :) If for whatever reason the posts highlighted below have reach their curation period, then feel free to pay their direct blog a visit as you will no doubt discover more great content which is more current.

Driving out of valley we were staying along into the adjacent valley to explore Kamberg region a place we had not visited previously. Denying the beauty of the area would be a lie, stunning to say the least!

Tears of joy ran freely down the faces of some of the biggest burly men on that rugby field and we shed a tear or two here at home as well! Ex-pat family and friends messaged how proud they were and missed home all over again, shedding bittersweet tears.
Rape - Information on a sensitive issue

Most people have the idea that rape is about sex, but it is not. It is about power. The power that the rapist have over a victim. The rapist will use force or threats in order to get the victim in his power and they can also use drugs to make sure that the victim do not fight back.

We are blessed to have many different trail runs and races being held almost every weekend in this beautiful part of South Africa, as the people of this province loves to keep active in many different ways not only Trail running but also Road running, as some of you may know this is where one of the biggest road races are held the famous Comrades Marathon.
Shower power
There is something about showering under the stars on a balmy summer night and in the fresh of a summer's morning, before the sun's scorch. (Or, if you prefer, on a cold winter's...whatever.) We have long been of the opinion that a swimming pool is a costly, time-consuming inessential, so when we moved to McGregor, we resolved to find a suitable outside space for a shower.
