@steempeak Can you add emojis? I think it's time we've had them.

Emojis are everywhere. Why not on Steem?

@steempeak, I am wondering if there is any chance we can get an emoji integration for the platform? Emojis are used by everyone these days. They're an excellent way for people to convey emotions online. They've infiltrated nearly every aspect of social media, yet we still do not have them on Steem or any Steem interface (unless your accessing from your cell phone).

So, I think it's time we get them added into the post/comment editor. What do ya say? I find they will be most useful in the comments section, but they could be useful in posts for a lot of people as well.

Everyone else, what's your opinion on this? Do you think emojis should be integrated into more Steem front-ends? If your answer is no, I am very curious to hear your reasonings against doing so.

That's a great idea. I also would like to see emojis here. I'm tired to copy past them from the web or to use the same one and that's this : ☺ .

Yeah, it's a pain in the butt. Also, it shouldn't be too hard at all to integrate them into the editor. They're everywhere on social media. There's 0 reason for us not to have them. It might encourage some more interaction as well.

I like this too. By the way, if you are using win10 with update 1903 or newer, you can press "win"and"." to call the emoji table. So it may not be much problem if steempeak doesn't make emoji table...

Oh wow, I did not know that. Cool tip. I'm typically on Linux, but that will definitely come in handy when I'm using W10. Thanks!
