Which Comes First .$50 STEEM Or LEO At .50?

I wrote an article this morning that discussed the exponential growth that can be achieved via a Steem-Engine token such as LEO. By being priced in STEEM, hodlers of the LEO token can benefit in a few ways.

Obviously, if the LEO goes up in price against STEEM, that has a positive impact. Another is for LEO to remain flat but STEEM takes off. Of course, the grand puba is if both the LEO and STEEM increase at the same time.

Here is the article from earlier.

My question to everyone is what do you see coming first: STEEM being worth 50 cents or LEO worth .5 STEEM?

For me, I believe we will see LEO at .5 STEEM.

My reasoning for this is because of what is taking place with Steemleo. Now, I have great optimism for STEEM and do believe when it reverses course, it will be fast and powerful. I do not believe, however, the run will start until we see SMTs. That is going to provide lot of publicity for Steem along with exposing tens of millions of users to cryptocurrency. For that, STEEM will ultimately be rewarded.

With LEO, we are looking at a different situation. The spread is tight on the token even though there is little liquidity. We are seeing it tough to by large numbers since such a great deal of the tokens are already staked. If we exclude the $2 sell wall that is going to be burned, about 85% of all tokens are staked. That is not a very liquid situation.

A lack of liquidity creates monumental moves. Unfortunately, rarely are they positive since a lack of liquidity is often due to the decline in confidence of investors. When they are no longer willing to enter markets, liquidity dries up and they collapse.

The situation is the exact opposite with LEO. This is one of the rare situations where a lack of liquidity can lead to an explosion in price. The reason for this is that the sell wall tends to be dry. We are seeing some spurts of selling but, with most of the stake locked up, things tend to dry up quickly.

With the advancements expected over the next few months from the development team, we could see the site quickly become feature rich. There is also the continual focus on the burn of the tokens, further tightening the amount that is liquid.

We are suppose to get word in the next couple weeks on two big developments. This could further enhance the buy side while limiting the sell side of the board.

Already, it is a rough looking one for buyers as it is.

As for the currency game, if both reach the .5 level, we will see each LEO worth $.25 as compared to the approximate $.02 it is at now.

So what are your thoughts on this matter?

This is a great debate to have, better entertainment than the Democrat debate from the other night. I really don't have an opinion on the matter because I'm thinking out 20 yrs from now. However, if someone told me I could win $1 if I guess correctly, I would have to choose Leo based on your argument above.

Great growth I have seen with LEO. It now speaks volumes of it's aim of being an investment minded steem-engine token. Thanks to the team for the awesome work.

0.5 steem/leo is more realistic giving the number of steem powered down recently and those lying on the exchange, my bet is going for leo on this one
