Silver Penny - The New Kid on the Blockchain

Few days ago I noticed a new interesting project: a STEEM based token, pegged to silver quarters.

For those of you who don't know the history of fiat money, the US quarter coins issued from 1932 through 1964 weigh 6.5 grams, and are composed of 90% silver. This created a good supply of silver coins on the market, and the initiative from @thesilverpenny is wonderful, as it gives us the possibility to buy subdivisions of silver quarters from anywhere in the world, without having to care about shipping and storing physical coins.

Silver Penny (SLVP) is currently traded on Steem-Engine, and the tokens can be exchanged for real silver anywhere in the US (25 SLVP for one coin)
