Thankful for the Steem Pump (Even if it's Just a One Night Stand)

Any pump in steem price is a welcome sight, but the theme of theses rare pumps also doesn't give optimism of any real follow through. So far this one is looking a lot better though.

One and Done?

Looking at the chart you can see I have the prior pump highlighted in gold. A nice spike with high volume that gave back more than two-thirds of the move by the time the day ended.

What's Love (or the move) got to do with it?

The last pump (also highlighted) atleast came after a few solid up days and so far the next candle is atleast showing green after seeing price give back the majority of the intraday move yesterday.

Either way, the point is these random spikes that give it all back in a day doesn't look like anything more than some big trader manipulation, that or either large purchases that push price and then see it fall right back down when the buying is done and the bid is no longer held.

I prefer it is the latter so then atleast there is hope of a long-term price appreciation relationship and not just a one night stand ;-)
