Wealth Update July 2019

Thanks to my recent pleasant tax surprise, i.e. unexpectedly discovering I had to pay about £2K less tax than I'd previously planned for, my wealth for July looks pretty good:

My Total (non property) Wealth has increase from £48.8K in May to £50.5K in July, which means I could now quit work entirely and just about make it until my teachers pension kicks in at 60, if I can just figure out how to live of an income of £4K a year.

Or in other words, not a bad figure but I think I'll be working for a few years yet!

Here's my new figures following a re-balance away from my main shares account - I basically used some of the cash to buy silver and gold and put a little bit more in my peer to peer fund and pay off a credit card bill and my (now much smaller than anticipated) tax bill.

NB the actual figures may be slightly more/ less - I can't be bothered to check the numbers on the share accounts 2,3 and 4 ATM so I'm just holding them equal.

It may look like I'm less well off, but I'd factored in the debt I've now paid off using the funds from Share account one into my May calculations.

Crypto's not looking pretty taking the two month change - down around 10%. Mainly thanks to most of my investment being in Steem.

But there's the value of diversifying - the whole picture is up slightly. AND this includes a nice little buffer to cover ALL of my outgoings for August and September AND my SF4 ticket, and a few summer shirts, I'll need those for Thailand.

I am waiting for some extra funds I get soon for some Silver as well! Looking like it wants to make a bigger move and I don’t have as much as I thought!

The price has been flat for ages and I think it's sensible to have some with things looking set for another crash!
