Lets talk BTT // The plastic gem in Dustins pocket

This is another hype job i want to touch upon. Not as much touch upon because im not going near it... but rather observe from a safu distance.

There has been so much hype about this token its ridiculous.
A token that will pray upon the mainstream users from its tiny utorrent corner.

Yes i have utorrent. I download stuff illegaly. I know its wrong. I know im part of the problem but lets face it we all feel cheap from time to time and im a guy that likes to watch old comedies that are super hard to find anywhere else. So i pirate the movie.

But to hell with it... Everyone is doing it.. Its ok then, right?

A few days ago a new option came to utorrent called "something something speed".
Basically you seed torrents and you get some BTT. I left a movie seeding for the whole night at 100kb upload and i got maybe a few cents of BTT. Awesome! Im going to be bloody rich in a couple thousand years.

But thats fine. You got something for running your pc all night. facepalm.

What is the point really of this? What is the investor appeal?

I try and put my myself in the mind of an investor.
Not a crypto investor. Those guys are pretty much willing to invest into a Pedo token if they thought it would bring returns.

I like to look at real world investors.
What do they think and what they might see when talking about BTT.

I mean lets be honest here. Probably more then 90% of bittorent protocol use comes from piracy which is absolute and clear criminal activity in anyones mind.

Just look at pirate bay downloads and seeds. You dont need to look further.

You tell me... Do you think when you pirate a movie that youre doing a favor to the hundreds of people that worked on that movie? Yes? I bet youre the type of guy that skips the credits at the end of the movie.

Let me ask you another question:

What investor in their right mind will invest in a token that is almost exclusively used for what is labeled by most governments in developed countries as criminal activity?

BTT is a piracy funding token. Thats it. Bittorent and Dustin might claim differently but thats the truth.

Bittorent can be used for all sorts of things but this is what it is. You can try to hide it. You can try and argue yourself out of it. But you cannot run from it.

BTT has no future because no sane investor will put their money into something with that kind of infamy.
A crypto investor might.

But crypto is going mainstream and we will not be living in a small hidden cornee of the world for long. Crypto is the future and the future does not like lies and missplaced hype. It does away with it.

Look. (One of my analogies😂)
Say you have a farmers market where 90% of sellers sell coccaine. You can trade all kinds of food and vegetables there but almost everyone sells coccaine. But the market is open for anyone..
You might have a guy selling tomatoes behind the snorting tables and the sunglasses stand...

But what is this market about? You know what to expect going there.

That is BTT and what the hype men want to sell you is this idea that its not the market that you should judge but the sellers there.

Take it as you wish, but if you see me there, trust me, im not there to buy tomatoes.
