Do you consider yourself an investor?

Sometimes, we use words we really don't understand. We use them because we read or heard other people use them - which is our natural way of learning.

So what does it mean to be an investor? Should we be limited to the defintion understood by the experts, or can we use it according to our own definition?

Personally, I don't want to use the word 'investor' on myself. But if I won't use it, then what other word will fit? Stakeholder? Too long for my taste and not much generic ring to it. 'Small-time'investor? Too long as well and too restrictive. So until I encounter the best or appropriate word, I'll call myself an investor.

What does it mean to be an investor?

When I hear the word, the first thing that comes to mind is 'big money' or large investments. But is it really necessary for one to have a large sum of fiat money at the start to be called an investor? What if one doesn't have money, does it all destroy all hope in order to become one?

Honestly, there are too many restrictions. Too many people that need to be pleased, too many people we seek to get approval. But if we seek the approval of too many people or even the wrong people, then we are doomed to fail.

So the first step of becoming an investor, is to know your reason. What are you doing something for? Why do you seek to grow your money? And if you seek to grow your money, what are its consequences?

There are just too many questions, too many emotional strings attached to money, which quickly connects to the word investor.

So what are your investment experience?

How much I like to call myself an expert or experienced in the world of money, I really can't call myself one. How much money am I willing to lose?

I associate all these things to being an investor.

I tried forex before and some stocks, and one thing stuck with me - psychology. Investments and psychology go together.

How do you grow your money?

I've been watching other people grow their STEEM holdings in here. And two people that come to mind are @cryptopie and @vallesleoruther. They inspire me.
