If bitcoin could do it, steem should!

This morning as I was browsing through the Internet, I stumbled across an article saying bitcoin is the best investment of the decade. Well, to me it was a surprise for the fact that those that bought the coin a decades again are not multimillion has the coin skyrocket beyond what mouth proclaim.

The new goes thus, 'A new report from Bank of America Securities has named Bitcoin the best investment of the decade, beating out competition from stocks, bonds, commodities, and fiat currencies worldwide.

The report found that a measly $1 investment in Bitcoin at the start of 2010 would be worth more than $90,000 today (at its current valuation of $7,000). An incredible return for any early hodlers! Here’s to 2030’s article announcing similar returns.

To me, sky is the limit for those that hold onto steem now, if bitcoin could skyrocket after 10 years of the existence then nothing is wrong with the price of steem now though, it has reduced values immensely compared to when it was first launched. I think this was as a result of those that abandoned steem to embrace EOS as many powerful hands left steem last year. source

Maybe I was wrong,just my assumption. I believe in steem which was why I invested in Steem not quite long, though, I don't know if I made the right decision, but I do know that if a child didn't die young then he is bound to survive the greatest storm of life.

The only thing that is strange to me is the trust I have in steem even though I don't know how the system works which makes the price to go up or down. I keep asking myself this question, is it the community that determines the price or their activities or better still the activities of the witnesses. It has been long I heard about the witness activities compared to last years where almost all user were clamouring for a witness slot. Everyone of them wants to secure their spot in 1 to 50. Guess they make lot of money there. That is not really my problem, but how steem value could be restored. A lot if Dapp has been introduced, but we still never see change like that.
