Holler to the Mamas who came to SteemFest 4. There's nothing quite like meeting someone in person especially when you have already met them on the SteemVerse.

@khimgoh @faitherz33 @elizacheng @fitinfun @travelgirl @misslasvegas and I @kaerpediem got to give each other real hugs and it was wonderful. Sure hope there will be more of us for the next SteemFest.

On full Steemfest mode, I missed last week's curation post but here I am back to routine and ready to give you another serving from our Heroes in Aprons.

After Steemfest4, @misslasvegas hangs out a couple of days in the city of Bangkok before catching up with Steemians who are already in Koh Chang for the after party. She stayed back for the usual and... won't spoil it for you.

So while some of the other Steemians traveled to Koh Chang on Monday, we stayed in Bangkok for two more days to spend time with my friend who came all the way from Singapore to see me. Of course we did the necessary shopping (because it's crazy cheap) and we got some nice massages to boot.

@fmbs25 tackles her grandmother's recipe on request to celebrate her favourite sibling's birthday. She not only shares her recipe but also memories of how her grandmother used to prepare it.

Yesterday was the birthday of one of my siblings, some won't know, but I'm the eldest of three siblings and let's say that the birthday boy of the day is my favorite, my right hand in everything, and my accomplice in almost everything, Francisco,

Oh, what a gorgeous piece. @carolinacardoza walks us through a crochet pattern that she's worked on. Perhaps a project for the holidays?

The pattern I have kept for many years and therefore looks somewhat blurry, but gives us a good image of the design I used to weave the circular shape. I'm going to write the step by step as it is on the sheet, I hope you understand me.

So late to reply, since STEEMFest kicked my butt! I would not trade it for the world, but I am coming back slowly. I am so happy the mamas were well represented and very glad for the in-person meetings. Can't wait for next year, and more @steemitmamas to meet :)
