Alcohol feels sore on the wound but cold on the skin

Hello lovely Steemian.
We are already familiar with alcohol. The use of alcohol has entered into various aspects of life. Starting from medicine, laboratories and even in making some hard drinks also contain alcohol.
For example when we are injured from a fall we are encouraged to use alcohol to cleanse. It feels very painful but it is good to protect against infection due to injury. Even though we can feel pain when alcohol touches our skin feel cold.
If you want to prove bad luck try yourself by rubbing alcohol into the skin. The hands must feel cold. In order to make it feel even more air, then the cold will be felt and the alcohol will disappear because it evaporates.
We often experience events like this, but sometimes we don't care. We assume that such incidents are natural. But if we want to think, then we will be able to explain in a simple but rational and scientific way. So it's good if we know that when there are children who ask questions, we can give the right answer, not just as long as answering like "That's fate."

Boiling point

Alcohol is a unique liquid. It has a very high level of sensitivity to temperature changes. al is influenced by freezing and boiling points.
Alcohol is a liquid that has a low boiling point. The boiling point of alcohol is around 78.4 degrees Celsius. Because the boiling point is low, the alcohol is very volatile.
To evaporate alcohol will require heat from the surrounding environment.
Then why does root alcohol feel cold when applied to the skin?
Well, here we have to try to straighten our understanding. We often think alcohol feels cold. The truth is our skin feels the temperature of the skin itself, not the temperature of alcohol.
this we can prove by putting alcohol in one room so that the alcohol temperature is the same as the room temperature. However, when alcohol is applied to the skin we will feel cold.
When alcohol is added to the skin, alcohol absorbs heat from the skin to evaporate. because the heat in the skin decreases the skin temperature will decrease due to heat transfer. The decrease in suh on the skin is then felt by the skin as feeling cold.
Ruffini and Krause's nerves that are sensitive to temperature stimuli send information to the brain about how the skin feels. then we say that when alcohol is applied it feels cold.
For the sake of my writing this time about alcohol applied to the skin and feels cold. Hopefully it can benefit us all.

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy it.
