Reading comprehension: Emeka and Ngozi

Read the passage carefully and
attentively.

Once upon a time in a small village called Dara. They lived a twin called Emeka and Ngozi. The twins grew tall and strong like plantain trees. Ngozi was like her mother, gentle and soft spoken. Emeka was like his father, strong and self - willed.

Sometimes, their mother took them to the town to their aunt. Their aunt sold both in the market and she was find of the of the twins. She bought them clothes and biscuits. Ngozi loved biscuits and she always comes back to the farm with her biscuits for the children.

Emeka did not like the town very much. He was a farm boy. He loved the farm. He helped his father on the farm. He helped him to clear the bush around the yam and he helped him with the sticks which were used to hold the yam tendrils. He enjoyed working with his father.
