Vote, comment and publish... How important is it?

avatar

Many people are attracted by this platform when they tell you that they are going to earn money for publishing, something that does not happen in other social networks more widespread and known.

Then they enter the trending and realize that there are those who have rewards of up to 60 or 80 or more dollars per publication, and they think... This is my chance, how come I didn't discover it before?

Edited image of the source

Then they open their account, and devote themselves to their first publication of presentation, and say, there voooy, the money will speak...

What's going on?

It is not often that a first publication, or successive ones, obtain great economic benefits, then it can happen that they feel disappointed, which was not what they expected, among so many other things. People want easy money, they enter this platform with the sole objective of monetizing, and also with a false expectation.

Certainly, The money speaks.. But for it to speak loudly it must be at a height that allows it to be heard by many, and this is achieved not with little effort, there are some things that many forget, or perhaps that is not what happens, but not or have in mind from the beginning.

I want to talk specifically about three important things, which I consider to be fundamental in our platform, regardless of which tribe it is.

Publish

As the image says, The community that pays you to publish. Certainly. That's why you get paid here in steemit, in reggaesteem, or in the tribe you decide to do it. But, there must be a minimum of requirements that you must meet in order to be favored with votes of good value (with high Steempower or jahm power in the case in question).

It's not just about uploading a photo and already, or putting 4 lines accompanied by an image, it's about your content giving some contribution to the community, that really say something. In addition to this there are some basic rules for editing, of which much information can be obtained about it, such as justifying or citing a source, among many other things.

In order to have the option of being compensated by users who want to give value to what you have done, through their vote. The latter, voting or not voting, is the dilemma.

To vote

With this the second point in question, The community that pays you to vote for quality content. The rewards for curatorship, which currently in the new Steem have gone from 25% to 50% shows the importance of voting content now, that your voice is heard through your vote.
You cannot fall into the fatal error of saying vote me to vote, follow me that I follow you, no. That's terrible. Votes should arise because you simply have to do it after reading the publication, and have the idea that the content is his authorship, and you want to compensate with a vote in favor, which will also benefit you.

Comment

This is the third point, many think that they are not important, that what is necessary is to publish and that you vote, ready. But that's not the case, Who will vote for you if you haven't established any kind of relationship with other users?

This is supremely important, because through the comments is that you let the user know that you have read their publication, that you have analyzed, understood, is a way to reward their work. Not enough with a oh, that good!, I agree, and phrases that denote that you have nothing to say, that simply did not take the time to read. Commenting on other publications is usually very well rewarded.

The tribe reggaesteem is a good example of this (As you can see in the image above).

When you see the publications, you can perceive that in the majority there are comments, not those automated, no, users who are dedicated to read and leave you a comment that makes you feel that it has been worth spending time to write, because you know that someone has been able to value it.

And if you do the same in another publication, you read it, comment on it, you will surely receive a benefit in your comment, as a thank you. As you can see in the following image, of some comments I have left.

Source

I think this makes sense entirely within the concept of this platform in which we live, because it even allows us to get to establish good relationships with other users, even without knowing each other personally.

I'm not an expert in any of this, I'm just a humble server that gives its opinion through this publication that I hope will be useful for those who are just starting out and even for those who have got lost in the way.

I invite you to be part of

I invite you to follow the tribe

If so I said to my friend who saw that I published a lot in faceboo and received many visitors now that between her went je je je je.
But here you learn a lot and are thankful among many people with you.
Now to publish thanks to God that the ideas flow fast but sometimes I feel that I write as much is that I inspire myself.
To vote vote but I read is like that which you sign without reading and is dangerous is not to vote for voting because you're the friend, but is good post do not vote you can give him a tip in the commentary.

That is also important the comment but a good comment or just THAT GOOD POST. Here I also concentrate on how I had to translate now to know what to comment on.

I follow you and I follow me, I vote you vote me I think we all did it at the beginning but many of us don't make an example of it anymore.

It was like long ha ha ha ha

To start, to publish, and not to receive rewards, that few follow you, can be frustrating at first, maybe that has to do with that "I follow you, follow me" thing... But it's good to realize that's not how it should be.
Thank you for commenting @zhanavic69

Great points, although we all long for the days of $80 posts, I fear it will never happen for the vast majority. Steem is a great place to network, find international friends and earn rewards.

I agree with you regarding comments, the more you comment, the more likely it is that people will visit your blog, engagement is key. Also, don't always chase what's new or profitable, chase what you like. In this case, whether you earn a return or not, at least you are following a passion. I came to ReggaeSteem because I like traveling and have been focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean. Reggae is also relaxing happy music.

A comment is often belittled, but to do so is important, we should not fail to do so. Even if we do not agree with what they say, the disagreement can be commented on with respect. At least for me that is the case.
Thank you @crypticat

(Edited)

Good points, its kinda of silly when someone comes here and just posts their content and disappear, at times not even replying to comments. It shows their true and only intention. It is like the wanna take the social out of social media.

Yes friend @dmilliz
It's besides silly, absurd.
It's a social network, if there's no interaction there's nothing to lose the essence, it's that simple.
Thank you very much for your support.

Yes, you have to interact, otherwise everything remains in the void. And it must not be @shani.jahming

Thank you.

Congratulations! Your post has been selected as a daily Steemit truffle! It is listed on rank 16 of all contributions awarded today. You can find the TOP DAILY TRUFFLE PICKS HERE.

I upvoted your contribution because to my mind your post is at least 2 SBD worth and should receive 135 votes. It's now up to the lovely Steemit community to make this come true.

You make some really important points @josevas217, to which I would also add that patience is extremely important. Those people with the "$100 posts" often spent years getting to that place, interacting and building a following. When you look at their pages, you'll see most have 10,000+ posts to their names... unless they are vote buyers, in which case we get into a whole different area.

Good info!

=^..^=

Certainly friend @curatorcat
An important point you have highlighted, patience, constancy, are not only important in steemit, but in life in general.

Much of that which generate great profits have in steemit since the beginning of this platform, and it is true, their interaction is great.

Thank you very much for your support.

@josevas217, You've touched very base and actual Foundational aspect and subject. In my opinion two things, Content (Product, Service or Niche) and Commentary both are **Interlinked with the aspect of Engagement. Stay blessed.
