My Feelings after the HardFork
I have been trying to write this post for the past 5-7 hours and I have just not been able to put my thoughts into words. There is a lot of things that are going at a Million Miles per hour in my Brain and frankly speaking that is kind of Crashing my Thought process. To add to that List I also have some Travel Plans to attend which are coming very soon and I am not prepared for it at all.
It's not like I am angry with the recent Hardfork and I am Pissed about it. I came to terms with that quite some time ago. At first, the 50-50 Reward Split sounded terrible to me as that would be detrimental towards the Creators/Authors. As for me, I feel like it won't matter a lot as both my Curation and Author Rewards were pretty even. But I have already found out that two Authors are going to stop Posting anymore on Steemit. Don't get it wrong they are not leaving STEEM, they will only Curate rather than Post. This may sound amazing to some of you but I don't feel that is good as most likely they will curate for a couple of weeks and then decide to Delegate their SP to someone and get Liquid Payments or just Sell their Upvotes on the Minnowbooster Market.
Wouldn't that lower the Activity Rate on STEEM??
My second concern is the fact that the Reward Curve favors Posts that have more than 20 STEEM in payouts. For a few weeks, I thought it was only 20 STEEM but it is actually 20 STEEM in payouts which means you have to get over 8 USD in Post Reward as half of it will go towards Curations. For the Average user getting total Upvotes over 8 USD is highly unlikely unless they use Bid Bots.
So most of us have to Use Bid-Bots Again
It's like on one Side this HardFork was to stop the Use of Bid Bots as much as possible but on the other hand, this 20 STEEM in Payout system is kind of forcing a lot of Authors to go use Bid Bots as they want to get the Max Reward.
It is this constant flux of thoughts that are currently making my thoughts all jumbled up. Now I do believe this HardFork will lead to some good results as well but as of now, I am waiting to see all the Data after the First Week of the HardFork.
I am keeping my Fingers Crossed for all the Positivity.
PS: I will be using some Bots to check the actual Bump in Rewards.

I have the same concern as you are. The 50/50 split between authors and curators sounds a bit unreasonable in my opinion. I guess, there will be less and less people posting soon and more will rather curate as it is just as rewarding as well with minimal effort.
However, the witnesses who had made this decision must have thought about this possibility too. Maybe there is a reason behind their decision that we didn't know. All that we can do now is hope that it will make Steemit better, more interesting to attract new users and more rewarding for all.

As I said in my Post in my case the payouts are not that different. My Curation Reward and my Author Reward will be swapping with each other so I think I will be ok but still, I don't feel like posting at all.
It's not like I am out of Content or things to talk about. Hell, I had the whole day off with nothing to do but I still couldn't write a post.
I do agree that there is a Positive Reason behind this and I am ok to wait and see how this changes the STEEM Community itself but as of right now I am feeling the Subconscious Pressure of half of my Author Rewards just cutting off and I think that is why my Sunconsious Brain is telling me not to Post.
I don't think using bidbots is bad but when people use half a dozen on one post and upvote their posts with $100's of dollars. That is abuse in most peoples eyes.
We will see how this 20 steem idea pans otherwise we will see a lot of people stop posting and do as you mentioned above.
Bid-Bots aren't necessarily Bad it's just that a lot of people found out a way to Abuse the system. It is basically a feature to Promote your Post.
I don't like using Bid Bots but when I used to use them I used only an amount that would Boost my Post to the Hot Page and if I get and views from that Point which lead to bigger Upvotes than that would be my Profit. Instead of spending 100's of USD on a single Post I am very happy to spend only 1 USD on a single Post.
As for the 20 STEEM Payout I already have a slight data on it. See this Post was also one sort of Experiment as I like to know the system I am Blogging on. See my 100% Upvote is worth around 0.58 USD but since I used the TIPU Bot my Upvote went from 0.58 USD to 0.75 USD on this same Post.
This clearly shows that there is an exponential Curve at work when it comes to Rewards as my Rewards increased with more Upvotes. This will be really fun poking through the System.
