Before starting with my entry to the initiative proposed by @theycallmedan where he proposes to the entire Steemians community to give us the reasons why we are still here despite the fact that the market has been going down for more than two years. Like many of you, I agree that while the economic part is interesting, it is more than obvious that those who try to continue offering quality content on a daily basis, the incentive goes far beyond the rewards we can obtain.

Antes de comenzar con mi entrada a la iniciativa propuesta por @theycallmedan donde propone a toda la comunidad steemians a pronunciarnos las razones por las cuales aún seguimos aquí a pesar de que desde hace algo más de dos años el mercado viene con tendencia a la baja. Al igual que muchos de ustedes coincido en que si bien la parte económica tiene es interesante es más que obvio que quienes intentamos seguir ofreciendo contenido de calidad a diario, el incentivo va mucho más allá que las recompensas que podemos obtener.

It is interesting to know what is the incentive of the community in general to continue producing good content and dedicating several hours of work a day to put together a good publication.

Es interesante conocer cuál es el incentivo de la comunidad en general para seguir produciendo buenos contenidos y dedicando varias horas de trabajo al día para armar una buena publicación.

Why Am I Still Here?

¿Por qué sigo aquí?

When I entered Steemit there for the month of September 2018 without knowing what the value of the steem was, or having any idea what its highest prices had been. In short, although the long-term idea was to try to obtain some revenue that would help meet the needs of my family, I was also very clear that this would take several years and a great effort in the production of content.

Cuando ingresé a Steemit allá por el mes de septiembre del 2018sin saber cuál era el valor del steem, ni tener idea de cuales habían sido sus cotizaciones más altas. En definitiva si bien la idea a largo plazo era tratar de obtener algún rédito que ayudar a cubrir las necesidades de mi familia, también tenía muy en claro que esto llevaría varios años y un gran esfuerzo en la producción de contenidos.

The idea in the short term was to be able to achieve a certain visibility through my publications, which almost all have as their main axis photography.

La idea a corto plazo era poder conseguir una cierta visibilidad a través de mis publicaciones, las cuales casi todas tienen como principal eje la fotografía.

I also try to collaborate with the community with publications on ecology and environmental care since it is a topic that has me very busy in my real life. To be able to transmit my knowledge about recycling of organic waste, solid waste and learn to know what waste can be reused in order to leave a better world for our future generations.

También trato de colaborar con la comunidad con publicaciones de ecología y cuidado del medio ambiente ya que es un tema que me tiene muy ocupado en mi vida real. Poder transmitir mis conocimientos sobre reciclado de residuos orgánicos, residuos sólidos y aprender a saber qué residuos pueden reutilizarse para así dejar un mundo mejor a nuestras futuras generaciones.

What do I expect when I make one of these publications? While it is always good to get a good reward when you offer good content, I must confess that I enjoy the comments and participation of other members of the community fills my soul and encourages me to continue on the good path. It is very stimulating to be able to transmit my knowledge and much more stimulating is to realize the interest that this generates in other members of the community and much more in realizing that it awakens the interest of my peers.

¿Que espero cuando hago una de estas publicaciones? Si bien siempre es bueno obtener una buena recompensa cuando uno ofrece un buen contenido, debo confesar que disfruto mucho de los comentarios y participación de otros miembros de la comunidad llena mi alma e incentiva para seguir en la buena senda. Es muy estimulante poder transmitir mis conocimientos y mucho más estimulante es darse cuenta el interés que ello genera en otras miembros de la comunidad y mucho más en darnos cuenta de que ello despierta el interés de mis pares.

Beyond all this and there is another point that really is really interesting and this is related to the possibility that we all have to meet many people from very distant points of the planet and know through the publications the places where they live, the realities of the countries where they live, the problems of their villages, their landscapes, customs and many other things that cause a great interaction and interest to be generated by people from other places that are usually difficult to achieve in other platforms.

Más allá de todo esto y hay otro punto que realmente es verdaderamente interesante y esto está relacionado con la posibilidad que todos tenemos de conocer a mucha gente de puntos muy distantes del planeta y conocer a través de las publicaciones los lugares donde ellos viven, las realidades de los países en donde viven, las problemáticas de sus pueblos, sus paisajes, costumbres y muchas cosas más que hacen que se genere una gran interacción e interés por personas de otros lugares que por lo general es difícil de lograr en otras plataformas.

I still remember that just over a year ago a user from India showed us live by discord the passage of a cyclone through the place where he lived. I still have the images and the concern generated by this friend of the community.

Aún recuerdo que hace algo más de un año un usuario de la India nos mostró en vivo por el discordia el paso de un ciclón por el lugar donde el vivía. Aún me quedan grabadas las imágenes y la preocupación que generó por este amigo de la comunidad.

These are the things that transcend publications, rewards, and feeling a great concern towards another human being although perhaps it is in a place on the planet far away from my country.

Estas son las cosas que trasciende a las publicaciones, a las recompensas, y sintiendo una gran preocupación hacia otro ser humano aunque quizá está en un sitio del planeta muy alejado de mi país.

Although at first I had trouble getting into the community, over time I realized what life is like in this magnificent community, and little by little I began to interact with many users, many of whom today I consider them true friends

Si bien en un primer momento me costó lograr insertarme en la comunidad, con el paso del tiempo me fui dando cuenta de cómo es la vida en esta magnífica comunidad, y de a poco comencé a relacionarme con muchos usuarios de los cuales a muchos hoy los considero que son verdaderos amigos

Mi paso por Steemit.

As I mentioned above, Steemit has helped me to show something that I am very passionate about and that occupies a preponderant role in my life and that is photography

Como les mencioné más arriba steemit me ha ayudado a mostrar algo que me apasiona mucho y que ocupa un papel preponderante en mi vida y ello es la fotografía.

Through them I try to tell emotions or create a story inspired by the immortalized image in that small moment in time that represents a photo.

Por medio de ellas intento contar emociones o crear alguna historia inspirada en la imagen inmortalizada en ese pequeño instante en el tiempo que representa una foto.

This has generated in me a great incentive to learn how to use photo editors and research on different topics to deepen knowledge that I already had incorporated but that perhaps I did not know with such depth.

Esto ha generado en mí un gran incentivo para aprender a utilizar editores de fotos e investigar sobre diferentes temáticas para profundizar conocimientos que ya tenía incorporados pero que quizá no conocía con tanta profundidad.

Junto con todos estos logros, fui construyendo una sólida amistad con muchos de los miembros que realizan gran tarea dentro de steemit. En definitiva uno termina siguiendo a personas que para el gusto de uno ofrecen grandes trabajos, de los cuales uno aprende mucho de ellos no tan solo de la lectura que uno hace de sus posteos, sino de observar sus magníficas presentaciones.

I think that with all this I have told you, I am responding to the slogan of why I am still on steemit.

Creo que con todo esto que les he contado estoy respondiendo a la consigna del porqué aún sigo en steemit.

Regarding the future, I am sure that I will continue to offer my productions, which I will try to improve and the situation in which the market is not a concern in itself, since I consider that I still have a long way to go to get some money from this. You have to keep working hard, offering good content and meeting people

Respecto al futuro, estoy seguro que seguiré ofreciendo mis producciones, las cuales intentaré mejorar y la situación en la cual esté el mercado no es una preocupación en sí, ya que considero que aún me queda mucho que recorrer para poder obtener algún dinero de esto. Hay que seguir trabajando duro, ofreciendo buenos contenidos y conociendo gente.

I think that if we all set ourselves the objective, we can offer good content to the community among all of us, we can raise the value of the platform and therefore our effort and time invested.

Creo que si entre todos nos ponemos como objetivo, ofrecer buen contenido a la comunidad entre todos podremos elevar el valor de la plataforma y por ende de nuestro esfuerzo y tiempo invertido.

It's time to keep working, to continue building; In the future we will see if we will have been able to build something that will help us in the future.

Es tiempo de seguir trabajando, de seguir construyendo; en un futuro veremos si habremos sido capaces de construir algo que nos ayude en el futuro.
