My entry: Who do I follow in steem and why? by @theycallmedan

It's the last day for the submission of my answer to the question of @theycallmedan

Who do I follow in Steem and why?

I had been on Facebook before I joined steem. It came to my mind that following a person to those who followed me is a sign of respect aiming for a great friendship. So when I started my steemit life, the one who helped me in this blockchain told me to follow some whale in steemit. She was even clicking those people to be followed. Later on, it became my habit to follow back someone who followed me.

Lately, I understood the system and matured enough to do what is better. I don't need to follow or unfollow or to follow back. But sometimes, it is necessary to follow an account most especially when it will be one of the rules in a certain contest. I made myself to the point of having my earning here mostly from joining any kind of contest.

I followed a lot of good steemians and I will choose today the one who gave me the highest impact on my heart. I promise to all my virtual friends that you are all special to me. I want to give one by one a description of why I followed you but it will take a month for the 1000 plus steemians to write about it. I just gave the assurance today that I love you all. Steemit is the better place that changed my life aspects so I respect all the people in this community.

Among those people I followed, I will give my insight to the four-person for general purposes why I followed them.

Let me start to @mermaidvampire

She is a 32 years Filipino dialysis patient who is a very smart and strong lady I ever knew. Yes, she is a Filipino but personally, I never knew her in person. I just met her in a group chatting about steem community @steemitachievers. She was so active in dealing with any kind of question arises when a newbie had a question on how to? She gracefully responded not for only me but for all of us. She made us happy in our community and to be honest, I loved the way she talked with us in a very quick fluency in English. I never had a regret knowing this strong vampire of the sea and mermaid at night. She is a great friend who helped and willing to help everyone. What the best part is with her and me is that she is vocal and frank. What she detected wrong in my posting, she would tell me a constructive comment. Her daily color challenge for one year and more helped us grew. And for her personal life, I learned that she was graduated in Psychology in a prestigious school in the Philippines. She is really a good intelligent woman I ever knew. She did many things in my steemit life.

My second choice @melinda010100

I knew dear @melinda010100 a year ago through my son who is a steemian also. My son felt happy when he won a prize in the longest shadow I think. It was the back year of 2018. My son introduced to me about shadow hunting but I didn't give any interest at that moment. Until one day, I attracted the shadow hunting. We all knew that @melinda010100 is the author of the 2 years old Shadow photo contest. I became her avid fans and I won many times.

Why I love her?
Every time I made my entry and commented to her contest post, she is giving me a response. It touches my heart when I wrote a comment and there I found her words too. Her great interactions with all of us are something special. I also loved the way how she wrote her blog. I am not a blogger and very poor in grammar and reading her post gave me an idea on how to make my own in a better way. @melinda010100 is a real shadow that passed on my mind even though the time I'm sleeping. I will not forget your generosity.

My third picked is @wakeupkitty

Hello, my dear @wakeupkitty! You always made the day during the time my group became wake after the HF21. That was the time I knew you and the bridge that connected us was @marblely in @team-ccc specifically The Favourite Thursday. I already heard her name in @abh12345 minnow league and @paulag's red fishes league I think. I admired you being on the top of the league. It inspired me so much. I also became a member of those leagues because of the great helped by @cadawg.

Why I picked her?
She is so active every day even though sometimes I read her post about some health issues. She also encouraged me by showing her determination positively in steemit. She is so helpful to us in our @team-ccc. I knew she is a good example to us here and I got the strength sometimes when I was down to earth.

My fourth choice is @theycallmedan

To be honest, I am choosing you to be followed and make a write-up about you now to gain curation from you. Honestly, I loved the way how you talk about steem. I was almost leaving here but one day I was watching a video on YouTube, it's inspired me a lot. I felt that was not only a message to my life just because of steemit life but it was a message for my entire life. It happened the day before your wedding. It opened my heart and mind how to be a better person bears or bulls.
I won't forget those words.

Taking by chance again to be grateful to you every day. When you sponsored a contest in @steemitonboarding I got 100steem as my prize. That was the biggest prized I had in my steemit life. It is so weird and how bad me if I will forget that moment. I will treasure it every day. The amount of steem became my steempower that helped me grew now.

The number 5 is @otom

This man is a crypto enthusiast. He is the one who introduced me to what is crypto in one word. A best friend and so vocal to all of us constructively. He guided us on how to earn tokens and how to keep steem for life. Crypto became one of the best parts of his life and what is good, he shared his knowledge. He wants us to grow how the way he grew.

The number 6 is @mers

She is my Filipina virtual friend I got in steemit. A beautiful 60 years old looked like 40 years young, living in the United Kingdom. I love our friendship and she taught me about how to use the markdown. The time I chat her, she gracefully entertains me and answers all my quest about steemit. She is also a good model in writing blogs and we can see her achievements until now. Thank you @mers!

I am so thankful for this blockchain that there are people who became a good example to us. I realized steemit is the best place in my social media life. For now, I am so hopeful that steem blockchain will be successful in the long term and it depends upon how the community helps each other. For me, bears or bulls, I will be here!
