Introduction: Steem and I

---

I have never been a lover of social networks.
I got to know Steem thanks to a course on cryptocurrencies that I bought about a year ago.
I still remember the first lesson on Steem. The teacher to introduce Steem asked us students:

Did you know that if you write a post on Steem you get paid?
Did you know that on Steem you get paid if you exercise?
Did you know that if you play a video game on Steem you get paid?

The cut of the course was very speculative and consequently I entered the world of Steem driven by a lot of curiosity and a main objective: the profit.

Then I started interacting with other users.
I read interesting articles, I got excited to read passionate poems and science fiction stories, I was dazzled by the beauty of some paintings, I learned new notions by reading tutorials and tips.

I documented myself and tried to understand more about Steem, Steemit, STEEM and the various Dapps that run on Steem.

I discovered with immense pleasure that hate, envy and free malice are almost absent on Steem.
"Ingredients" that instead abound in traditional and centralized social networks.
Ingredients that have always kept me away from a dish I didn't like, an indigestible dish ...

Today 340 days have passed since I became a steemian and the initial desire to earn has given way to the pleasure of reading and writing, has given way to the pleasure of sharing ideas, opportunities, thoughts and passions with other users of the platform of steem.

Who Do I Follow on Steem & Why?

The people that I follow and that I will mention in this post are the people with whom I have interacted most in my path on Steem and in presenting them I will follow a purely chronological order:

It is the account of the Italian community that helped me and gave me many tips at the beginning of my adventure on Steem.
Steempostitalia has a discord channel done very well and divided into sections.
As soon as I entered this wonderful community I was included in the "kindergarten" section.
In kindergarten more experienced users help newer users.
My stay in the kindergarten did not last long but it served me a lot, I read all the available guides and I learned a lot.
The support of @steempostitalia has been and still is very important for my growth on Steem.

About 8 months ago I ran into an @fedesox contest.
Fedesox is a great expert on technology and Steem and he is also a good Vlogger.
Each of his posts contains notions and interesting food for thought on the world of Steem and on blockchains in general.
He is a great promoter of Steem and his initiatives and projects are all aimed at making Steem known to most people.

It is the steemian who has supported me most in my growth:

• when I was around 80 SP he gave me a delegation of 500 SP for a month: I immediately understood what it feels like to be a "minnow" without being one.
• almost all of my posts received his vote.
• has created a valid project at the base of which there is a token: the Mustakkio Coin (MSTK).
  The main purpose of the MSTK is to encourage participation and interaction among users.

I have never missed a post by @fedesox because his posts are positivity pills.

Lately @amico is not very active from the point of view of post writing but he is always present with his comments (always kind).
It was another user who spurred me on when I was a "plankton" with his advice and support.
I've always liked his positivity. His posts are always very "colorful" and reveal an eco-sustainable and positive vision of life that I fully share.

He is perhaps the most active user of the Italian community on Steem. In fact, he is often in the top 10 places in the @ abh12345 "Engagement Leagues" weekly ranking.
His biggest passion? Cats.
He is a cat lover. By dint of seeing photos of his cats, now when I see a cat automatically I think of him.
Every day he comments many posts with an eye to new users who have little SteemPower.
His commitment to Steem is truly important and admirable.
I have a sincere esteem and respect for him.

@robibasa is a brilliant, ironic and very nice user.
One of his great passions? The music. He is the singer of a musical group called Dinamida.
His posts: beautiful, positive and ironic, they always manage to snatch a smile from me.
Like me he is the dad of a beautiful little girl and I love his family posts.

It is easier to find water in the desert than to find a contest that does not have @claudio83 as a participant. It also has a mission to accomplish: to map all of Italy with Tasteem reviews :).

Seriously I have a lot of admiration for Claudio83, he has almost reached the status of dolphin in less than a year. I like reading his posts and I agree with him on many arguments and reflections.
He is about to join my favorite club which is also the most beautiful club in the world: the daddy club.

These are only the users with whom I interacted most in my short but intense adventure on Steem.
I am knowing and following other users and I try, in my small way, to encourage and support especially new users.
Steem is an ecosystem and if the smallest stemian grows, we all grow ...

Almost a year has passed since I embarked on the journey into the world of Steem.
I don't know where this trip will take me, but whatever the destination will be, it will have been a beautiful journey.
Because?
Because it is a journey resulting from a free choice and an irrepressible desire for freedom.

Chi seguo su Steem e perchè?

Introduzione: Steem and I

Non sono mai stato un'amante dei social network.
Ho conosciuto Steem grazie ad un corso sulle cryptomonete che ho comprato circa un anno fa.
La lezione su Steem iniziava con l'insegnante che domandava a noi corsisti:

Lo sapete che su Steem se scrivete un post venite pagati?
Lo sapete che su Steem se fate attività fisica venite pagati?
Lo sapete che su Steem se giocate a un videogame venite pagati?

Il taglio del corso era molto speculativo e di conseguenza sono entrato nel mondo di Steem spinto da tanta curiosità e da un principale obbiettivo: il guadagno.

La sorpresa e il cambiamento

Poi ho incominciato a interagire con gli altri utenti. Ho letto articoli interessanti, mi sono emozionato a leggere poesie appassionate e racconti di fantascienza, sono rimasto abbagliato dalla bellezza di alcuni dipinti, ho imparato nozioni nuove leggendo tutorial e consigli.

Mi sono documentato e ho approfondito il discorso su Steem, Steemit, STEEM e le varie Dapp che girano su Steem.

Ho scoperto con immenso piacere che su Steem è quasi assente l'odio, l'invidia e la cattiveria gratuita.
"Ingredienti" che invece abbondano nei social network tradizionali e centralizzati.
Ingredienti che mi hanno sempre tenuto lontano da un piatto che non mi piaceva proprio, un piatto indigesto...

Oggi sono passati 320 giorni da quando sono diventato uno stemian e il desiderio iniziale di guadagno ha lasciato il posto al piacere di leggere e scrivere, ha lasciato il posto al piacere di condividere idee, opportunità, pensieri e passioni con gli altri utenti della piattaforma di Steem.

E' l'account della community italiana che mi ha aiutato e mi ha dato tanti consigli all'inizio della mia avventura su Steem.
Steempostitalia ha un canale discord fatto molto bene e diviso in sezioni.
Appena entrato in questa splendida community sono stato inserito nella sezione "asilo".
Nell'asilo gli utenti più esperti aiutano gli utenti più nuovi.
La mia permanenza nell'asilo è durata poco ma mi è servita molto, ho letto tutte le guide disponibili e ho imparato davvero molto.
Il supporto di @steempostitalia è stato ed è tutt'ora molto importante per la mia crescita su Steem.

Circa 8 mesi fa mi sono imbattutto in un contest di @fedesox.
Fedesox è un grande esperto di tecnologia e di Steem ed è anche un bravo Vlogger.
Ogni suo post contiene nozioni e interessanti spunti di riflessione sul mondo di Steem e sulle blockchain in generale.
E' un grande promotore di Steem e le sue iniziative e i suoi progetti sono tutti finalizzati a far conoscere Steem alla maggior parte delle persone.

E' lo steemian che mi ha supportato di più nella mia crescita:

• quando avevo circa 80 SP mi ha dato una delega di ben 500 SP per un mese: ho provato subito ad essere un minnow.
• quasi tutti i miei post hanno ricevuto il suo voto.
• ha realizzato un valido progetto alla cui base c'è un token: il Mustakkio Coin (MSTK).
  Lo scopo principale del MSTK è di incentivare la partecipazione e l'interazione tra gli utenti.

Non mi sono mai perso un post di @fedesox perchè i suoi post sono pillole di positività.

Ultimamente non è molto attivo dal punto di vista della scrittura dei post ma è sempre presente con i suoi commenti (sempre gentili).
E' stato un altro utente che mi ha spronato quando ero un "plankton" con i suoi consigli e il suo supporto.
Mi è sempre piaciuta la sua positività. I suoi post sono sempre molto "colorati" e lasciano trasparire una visione eco-sostenibile e positiva della vita che condivido pienamente.

E' forse l'utente più attivo della comunità italiana su Steem. Infatti è spesso tra i primi 10 posti nella classifica settimanale "Engagement Leagues" di @abh12345.
La sua più grande passione? I gatti.
E' un amante dei gatti. A furia di vedere le foto dei suoi gatti, ormai quando vedo un gatto in automatico penso a lui.
Ogni giorno commenta tantissimi post con un occhio di riguardo ai nuovi utenti che hanno poco SteemPower.
Il suo impegno su Steem è davvero importante e ammirevole.
Provo una sincera stima e rispetto nei suoi confronti.

E' un utente geniale, ironico e molto simpatico.
Una delle sue grandi passioni? La musica. E' il cantante di un gruppo musicale che si chiama i Dinamida.
I suoi post: belli, positivi e ironici, riescono sempre a strapparmi un sorriso.
Ci accomuna anche il fatto di essere due felici papà e adoro i suoi post sulla famiglia.

E' più facile trovare l'acqua nel deserto che trovare un contest che non ha claudio83 come partecipante. Inoltre ha una missione da compiere: mappare con le recensioni di Tasteem tutta l'Italia :).
Scherzi a parte nutro tanta ammirazione per Claudio83, ha quasi raggiunto lo status di delfino in meno di un anno. Mi piace leggere i suoi post e mi trovo in accordo con lui su molti ragionamenti e riflessioni.
Sta per fare l'ingresso nel mio club preferito che è anche il club più bello del mondo: il club dei papà.

Non ha bisogno di presentazioni. E' geniale, creativo e fashion. E' il manichino più famoso di Steem. Adoro la creatività che traspare da ogni suo post. Dare un'anima ad un manichino non è una impresa facile e invece @steemitri c'è riuscito con una semplicità e una positività davvero unica.

Steem: una porta verso la libertà

Questi sono solo gli utenti con cui ho interagito di più nella mia breve ma intensa avventura su Steem.
Sto conoscendo e seguendo altri utenti e cerco, nel mio piccolo, di spronare e supportare soprattutto i nuovi utenti.
Steem è un ecosistema e se cresce il più piccolo steemian cresciamo un pò tutti...

E' passato quasi un anno da quando ho intrapreso il viaggio nel mondo di Steem.
Non so dove mi porterà questo viaggio ma qualunque sarà la destinazione sarà stato un viaggio bellissimo.
Perchè?
Perchè è un viaggio scaturito da una libera scelta e da una irrefrenabile voglia di libertà.
